Hi Folks,

I have started a blog to list my projects I am working on this year. I figure this way I would focus on getting them done….. The first is my Underworld game I've been working on for the past year. You can take a look at the link. Being a newbie at the blog thing, any tips are encouraged.

Thanks

Neat idea. There is a cool (and very large) Werewolf lord in the DnD range of plastic. From the Unhallowed set:

Actually CC, I must say you and TMP were very much my inspiration to actually work on this. Your many links lead to some great ideas. Kudos to you.

I hope to post some stuff in the very near future.

Thanks
Scott

I have these Reaper ones too:

For the really primitive types . . .

But there are lots more I have yet to buy:

QUESTION:

I didn't see any in the movie but should there be female werewolves as well?

Just curious, since that would give me an excuse to use this smaller Reaper werewolf as a female:

Honestly, I really don't care for the Reaper female werewolf with human-like breasts:

I figure there would be some female Lycans somewhere as well. My plan right now was having male and female figures in human form to fight as Lycans as well. I agree, I'm not too keen on the female werewolf figure either.

I do have the Moor hound painted up as William. I also planned on getting a couple of Jean Paul minis at some point. Just curious, how do they match up size wise. They seem to look larger.

Usrivoy3,

I'll try to take some comparison photos tonight, so I can post on my Flickr page.

I would love to make terrain like this for the Lycan tunnels:

That way the better armed Deathdealers would have to venture in to terrain familiar to the Lycans.

One of the things I'm looking to do is a tunnel, underground setting. Something similar to the Lycans lair. One idea is to cut small sections (2"x4")of drop ceiling material. Prime and drybrush as brick or something. A friend had done something similar to this for dungeons and it worked well.

I'm currently putting together some Urban Mayhem buildings for some cityscape battles. Since we really didnt see anything happening in the century or so before the movie, anything goes in my mind.

Lots of debris, puddles, chains, etc. in those tunnels:

Maybe with most tunnels being just enough for two figures to pass abreast?

Scott,

Do these photos help?

CC, Thats exactly what I'm thinking for the tunnels. I do want them to be able to be changeable too. Though in the back of my head I am toying with the idea of creating a stand alone terrain piece with the layout of the Lycan layer. I figure an upper layer with the "med" area with rooms and the pool below. And tunnels running off in various directions. Very claustrophobic without compromising playability.

Also thank you for the photos. I think the Jean Paul figure would be great for what I'm calling a Lycan Lord in my bashed rules. Something in the way of Raze or Lucien being. Just slightly better than the average Lycan.

By the way, the two figures you have next to them. I have them as well and plan on using them for human form Lycans in the game.

Thanks again. I posted another quick update on my blog if your interested.

Scott,

In this other, and completely unrelated, thread I was also trying to tackle the challenge of having a surface and an underground board:

Initially I thought of having a set up like this:

Now I feel two or more set ups side by side would be best, giving everyone plenty of room to move their figures.

This neat range was suggested by Smokingwreckage on another thread:

Looking at one of the figures in that range made me think of something really off the wall . . .

What if Mulder and Scully came upon part of the feud here on this side of the pond? :)

Actually I have painted up a number of the Chronoscope figures, and plan on getting more. I have been playing with a background for a game. Sort of Serenity meets Time Cop.

The crew of the "Cronus" travels back through time to stop the evil syndicate from changing history. Each type of hero figure has his own speciality to contribute to the game…… As a bad example…. Buffalo Bill leads the crew to save Sitting Bull at Little Big Horn. Custer whos being helped by the evil guys now has advanced guns and they plan to rewrite history. Still working on the details though. Also gives a reason to have Buffalo Bill fighting alongside Brit Colonial troops… Heh heh

I do plan on having human Vampire/Lycan hunters ala Buffy part of the Underworld game. Got to have "victims" you know….

Hmmm . . .

Time travel? LOL

Usrivoy3,

Is this the main SST rule book?

Hi CC,

I'm not sure if that is the original ruleset. It doesnt match the cover of the rules I have. I there was a second release based on Battlefield Evolution. Any searches I do come up with that cover.

Contact me at usrivoyATgmailDotcom, I have an extra copy if you cant find one.

By the way look for an update later for a playtest we did last night on my blog.
