What would make a 15mm range of Pig-Iron-like infantry unique, among everything else already in production out there?

Is it their helmets?

Their gear?

Their weaponry?

Their poses?

ALL OF THE ABOVE

Dropship Horizon's Mark just shared the news of this awesome range, now in the works:

Looks like a Halo-Pig Iron hybrid. I'll be in line to buy, as soon as they become available.

I am pretty sure Pig Iron has bene asked this once or twice on threads I've been in. I know when I expressed an interest they responded by saying they were going to focus on their 28mm and weren't wanting to try to develop two identical product lines dfierenciated by scale only.

Also, a 15mm duplicate line might actually be harmful to the sales of their 28mm product. There are figs with asimilar look to them anyhow. GZGs NSL troops are quite similar in basic helmet/gun. They are abit more armored, but only just so.

Well, forget Pig Iron 15mm. I think that the Critical Mass Games' "Light Recon Troops" (in development) will exceed my needs and expectations:

I'm really impressed and excited about those Critical Mass Games' light troops. Hope they have sufficient poses and we don't simply get a pack or two of what they consider to be solely "recon troops".
