I've updated this post on Dropship Horizon with several comparison pics of Critical Mass Games and GZG minis: link

Those still fall within the range I'd use. Slightly taller, from a low gravity world

Hmm. They are unquestionably beautiful, beautiful sculpts.

But I guess I'm sticking with buying only their Light Recon. I've ordered them, by the way. Couldn't resist.

I want to be able to use new figures with the ones I already have so, to me, the CMG Light Recon seemed the most logical choice:

I wish I could use their Drop Troopers, but they are just way, way too big. :(

Besides, the Light Recon look like something possible in the very near future (which I prefer), while the Drop Troopers look a lot more futuristic. Just my impression, of course.

Yeah, I'm pretty much with CC. The Light Recon will fit right in. Not sure about the others. They sure are nice though.

Thanks,

John

I would use the Drop Troopers as an elite unit. Explains why they are a head taller than everyone else.

Very useful, thanks! Looks like I will placing an order in November….

This is exactly how I plan to justify different human heights in miniatures as well- humanity has been settled on different worlds long enough for local conditions to influence their physical growth.
