I think that some of these Foundry Street Violence ones are nice, but a bit too big for my EM-4/Copplestones: link link link CC |

Or does anyone know for sure if the Foundry ones will mix with the EM-4/Copplestones? Thanks. CC |

Some of the foundry figs are the exact same height as the copplestone. Many are larger but I don't think they are too bad. I use them both together but then I sort of like the "people of different sizes look"
. just like real life. Some of us are 5-10 (me), some are 5-2 and some are 6-6. To me the differing sizes look just fine as long as they aren't too out of scale and you have a variety. |

The Foundry figures go fine with Copplestone and EM4 (though EM4 are smaller), especially once painted and based. Size differences can be put down to characters different heights if playing skirmish games. Checkout Westwind's Roadkill range too, though they don't have any men in black there are other figures which could be used in the same type of games, the Police and SWAT figures are really nice (I think they're the best figures that Westwind have done). |

Mega Miniatures has a Pack they call the Bureau: auction They aren't bad for the price, but they are a little smaller than the foundry street violence line. |

I have Copplestone MIB with some street violence: they're good together. |

It's not the height of the figures so much as the size of the heads (most people have about the same size head no matter how tall they are) and general aspects of model style. I would not like to mix Copplestone figures and AT43 humans, because their style is different. |
Doms Decals | 18 Oct 2007 3:22 p.m. PST |
I have the EM4, Copplestone, and Foundry "Juno's Crew" pack, and they mix perfectly. Of the Foundry sculpts one (the "Mac Taylor" figure) is at least half a head taller than the EM4 offerings, but the sculpting style and build fits fine; he just looks like a big scary bloke; think Jaws in the Bond films
. The others are very similar to Copplestone in size and style; the female ones I had to think about which was which. (The Foundry males are very slightly bulkier than Copplestone, I'd say, but not enough to be a problem mixing.) Dom. |

For the record, mine's probably going to get some serious firepower; the extra bulk of the Foundry ones works well if you make them the muscle of the outfit; I converted the "Ace" figure to a machine-gunner, and "Mac Taylor" may well end up with a rotary grenade launcher that's lurking in my spares box. |

There were some for Conspiracy X. Also, the folks that do the police, terrorists, and hostages minis used to have some from another line that you could order from them. I don't think they have/had pictures of them posted. |

In the "size of head" area I think the Foundry mix well also. I also have the scully and Mulder figures from Excalibur and they fit right in as well. |

Oh, yeah, scroll to the bottom of the page link to see the minis AWuuuu is talking about. Drop the pixel count on the image and they actually look pretty good. They do look nice IRL. |

I got the Warzone Cartel Agents pack recently from Prince August. Includes two guys in suits, in poses and style similar to the Em4 ones. That's because they were sculpted by Mark Copplestone too, what I finally know for a fact now (happy happy, joy joy!). They are bigger though, if you know the Warzone figs, but I use them as clone/gen-tech/bionically enhanced bodyguards of the Em4 corporate fugitive guy. Recommended. |
