Hi Everyone, Does anyone have any suggestions for Star Trek minis from TNG or newer? Thanks! |

I was thinking about them, but their gear is off
otherwise they might work
I'd prefer TNG phasers and rifles like:
And of course, tricorders! :)

Have you looked at this place? link I know it's paper figure. It says 28mm, but it should be possible to adjust the printing to nearer 15mm. |

GZG miniatures do a civilian pack in the Stargrunt section that work

This one would be a perfect pack :)
Not much for paper minis, unfortunately, but I have this pack: GZG miniatures do a civilian pack in the Stargrunt section that work
SG15-V01 I'll have to paint some up and see how it works! Thanks! |

That would be an awesome set! The sleek look is definitely there. But 3 figures by themselves wouldn't be enough. I think Malleman (Astro Minis) is the guy to talk to. Who knows. He might already have plans for something like them. Dan PS. Either that or someone could dig a little deeper into the status of the dollies seen at the bottom of this other thread: TMP link |

That would be an awesome set! But 3 figures by themselves wouldn't be enough. Yes, I think at least 6 would work, those three, and then one with a phaser out, one with a phaser rifle, and one holding a tricorder out w/o a pack. |

Mr H, The Astro Minis are insanely easy to convert. The weapons cut down to make more modern designs pretty easy. I've done quite a few conversions on some of them and find that with a few little bits of putty (if that) and some paint. Here is a Tellarite I converted off of one (figure on the right).

Good thing you left out the uniforms from Star Trek the Motion Picture. Even the cast hated those things. But those and TNG first uniforms were the worst ever made, they looked awful. Personally I still prefer the STII:WOK and on from there uniforms. Some of these would be nice, but it might be impractical to try and game every change in starfleet's uniforms.

I also prefer the uniforms from ST2-6. They seemed more military, which is why they didn't survive. The designers for TNG decided that Star Fleet should look less military. I like the mod they made on the TNG uniforms when they got to DS9 and Voyager. Enterprise had some nice uniforms too. |

Gosh, I miss the Wrath of Khan-Undiscovered Country Uniforms, they lent a bit of seriousness and professionalism that I always felt was lacking in the various series, up until the late DS9, TNG movie uniforms came around, which seemed a bit better. It seems a bit odd how many of the best liked Star Trek Movies are associated with that uniform, yet it hardly ever appears in ST media, everythign always defaults to TOS or TNG uniforms, which is a real shame, since TOS movie era is my personal favorite. Personally, I would be overjoyed if someone made some good-quality 'away teams' for either TOS-movie era or TNG/DS9 era in either 15mm or 28mm. Most of what I have seen available out there either seems to be TOS-series era, which doesn't really do much for me. DR Who (not to say I don't like Dr Who) minatures are more widely available than good Star Trek minis, which is a crying shame. |

Mr. Harold, Give me until this weekend and I will paint some up as TMP, TNG, DS9, and maybe TOS BSG for examples. |

I would be overjoyed if someone made some good-quality 'away teams' for either TOS-movie era or TNG/DS9 era in either 15mm or 28mm FWIW, in the Victory Force range the figures tagged as "Alternate Universe" are pretty darn close to the TOS-movie era uniforms. They have the shoulder tassel/badge/thingy, although rather than a belt they're wearing a sash (more like mirror universe characters). With the right paint job, though, I'm sure they would look the part, almost to a T. Their security officers are in the TOS-movie era armor & helmet. link link link link link |

Catoblepas, I so agree. The movie uniforms were the absolute best Starfleet uniforms ever. They looked the most "naval." Does anybody make these at all? I also like the new dress uniforms in the new movies as well. |

For women, you can use the Rebel Minis, Black Widow Mercs – at least the one sans their coats. I've asked them to do some new sculpts, with long-weapons (rifles, etc.), and to lose the coats, but no response back as to if that is a possibility. Would love to see some male figures as well, in similar dress, with weapons. |
