Generic enough to be useful as federation crew for any of our favorite 24th century space travel themes.

The closest thing these days are the following GZG packs:
SG15-V1
Civilians/colonists pack A
SG15-V4
Techs and Crew

I guess they could work for this look:

However, THIS is the general look I am really after (clean, advanced, sleek uniform and gear):

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

I'd like to see some nice, modern, sleek uniforms as well, ala:

Star Trek
Star Wars
UFO
Starship Troopers, etc.

Sadly, none are currently available in standing, walking, running, sitting, or poses where they are firing weapons, throwing grenades, or fighting hand-to-hand.

We need more crew looking like anime space crew. Some really nifty looking uniforms out there, though colars can be a bit large at times.

Please. Not more of the same old same old middle-aged guys in spandex! My eyes cannot take the pain any longer! Miniature gaming needs more creativity! !!! !!! (Ok, I got in my quota of !'s for the month.)

CPBelt,

Any image links, to help us visualize what you mean?

Thanks.

Captain Gloval from Robotech is a example of what CPBelt is talking about when it come to uniforms for anime space crews picture the Female crew members such as Lisa Hayes also have very good looking uniforms, much more military looking then spandex picture

I actually like the GZG crew look. Reminiscent of B5, BSG and lots of other stylish, practical, non-polyester futures.

A dress uniform crew pack would be nice and/or crew in freefall, but the undress fatigues are very nice.

I like the looks of these SHADO uniforms from UFO, since they look quite functional, and comfortable:

These Star Trek ones work too:

Here are some Romulan ones which look quite nice:

Here's my favorite Romulan commander:

The above uniforms are certainly much better and preferable than the later, obscenely large, and ridiculously square-shouldered uniforms used in later series shows.

This Klingon uniform is decent enough too:

Here are the ones for Space 1999:

How hard would it be to do something like this?

There's room for lots of different "looks" in starship crew uniforms, from paramilitary to spandex to grunge-tech and beyond. Even in the same universe you'd expect a lot of variation between civilian crews – every owner is likely to have their own idea of what's suitable shipboard garb.

There aren't as many minis of this type on the market as I'd like, though. They don't lend themselves to large sales numbers like troop figs do, and it's harder to make money selling a single away team to any given buyer.

I like the look of these but I would add a colored line between the gray and the black matching the collars

I've been trying to Star Trek in 15mm, but with little result.

GOOD NEWS – there are new range on 15mm.co.uk for aspiring sculptors – SHM
15mm.co.uk/SHM_15mm_Range.htm

And there are 5 new figures in there wich look like BORG!!! Want to order some. At least its something in 15mm

The good thing for Trek Uniform, that you just need figure in simple clothing withour any features and just paint the form like TOS
picture
TNG
picture
ENT, Voyajer or DS9 :)

So these guys would be OK for Trek if you dont mind the belts :)

Kremilin minatures ( link ) has been making decent 'Borg' analogs, the Zomborgs, for some time now.

RAFM make some nice alternative to ST crew type figures in thier ex-traveller range.

WOW! These are REAL Borgs!

Cacique Caribe24 Dec 2010 9:22 p.m. PST
