Well I ordered the Blue Moon 15mm Pirates Wednesday night
right after I saw the advert, and I got them in todays mail!
Thought for certain that I'd have to wait after Cold Wars. Many Thanks!

The figs are nice and hefty! I'll have some painted and posted by the end of the week.

Also a shout out to Thoroughbred Minis! Made two seperate orders for cannon on Thursday and recieved both of them today! Must say that I am impressed with the service and the quaility of the guns! The cannons muzzles are even drilled.

D6Junkie, tell us more about how those pirates look in person! Which specific packs did you get?

Thanks.

Sounds like fun.

Any chance you can shed some light on how they compare with the Peter Pig pirates, sizewise?

Dude – does that mean we'll be doing some pirate games? I may pick a few up myself if you're going to give it a go.

Hey Guys,
Okay let's see,
Dan, I ordered the pirate crew and the European crew/captains.
A lot of the poses remind me of the 25mm Old Glory pirates.
The figs are big and hefty, some with thick bases and some with thinner. All the figures seem nice and crisp almost no flash. Look to be a pleasure to paint.

vs Peter Pig Pirates, I'm afraid I have none as yet. vs
a Peter Pig AK-47 fig, I'd say the Blue Moon pirate is almost a head taller. The Blue Moon figs seem about the same size as my 15mm Black Hat Imp Martians.

I've got some Minifigs on order, I'll give you a comparison as soon as they arrive.

I plan on 2 ships with Blue Moon crews, 2 with Minifigs crews, and 2 with Peter Pig.

Bob, I am preparing a scenerio for a multiplayer game.
Hope to have it ready next month. I've taken the old Gary Chalk plans and shrunk the ships down to about 8-9 inches so that we can do a bit of manuever on the tables.
I'll put pics up later this week.

Those look like excellent castings. I'm not ready to trade in my 28mm yet, but it's tempting.

C'mon, Pyrate Captain. You know you want to "diversify".
