Something representative of today's explorers and scientists, but with weapons, or today's military in winter gear: TMP link TMP link TMP link TMP link TMP link If not, do you know of someone that may be planning on filling that void? I just want to know if the situation has changed since the last time I searched: TMP link Thanks. CC |

GZG's 15mm Sci-Fi Scandinavians should work. |

Top Gun Ace, Thanks. However, is that what they are called? I can't seem to find them, though maybe I'm looking for them in the wrong place. link CC |

Found them on the Eureka site: link Not bad at all! I'm definitely getting them. The only thing is that I wish there were a few more poses, and a couple of civilians in winter gear as well. Today's modern period weapons would have made them perfect. Thanks so much. Dan |

I have 6 poses in arctic wear with M16s
any use? |
Cacique Caribe | 29 Oct 2009 5:28 p.m. PST |
Oooooo, Geoff. Where are they, exactly? link Thanks. CC |

That's always the bane of my existance – never enough poses for my liking. Hopefully, one day, that will be rectified. At least GZG are working on that, with their latest NAC and NI releases. Now, if we can only get some more UNSC poses, and troops in flying mode, with rocket/grav/jet packs, or belts. |

They are currently on my modelling desk, in a little bag, waiting for me to finish a few other figures before I send them all to Chas for molding. I don't we have quite decided where to put them. The basic figures are armed with M16, but could fall under either post war (pre 1980/1990) or modern. Email me and I'll send you a photo. Geoff |

"could fall under either post war (pre 1980/1990) or modern" I would list them under both! Sent you an email just now. Thanks. Dan |

I didn't get any email – where did you send it? |
Cacique Caribe | 30 Oct 2009 4:11 p.m. PST |
Hmmm. I sent it to the email address on your main page. Now that I try to access you main page, I'm getting a bandwith exceeded message. I can open everything else, but your site. Dan PS. Just sent you a PM with my email address. |

Yes, got it. Uh, we just exceeded our expanded bandwidth allowance for the month
again! Who said adding photos costs nothing? |

Excellent! I have to take off for the evening, but I look forward to seeing the photos. Thanks so much for the sneak peek. Dan |

I think a few sets of figures in winter gear will be perfect for Red Dawn also! CC |

Geoff, just get 'unlimited' bandwidth :) |

Geoff, Thanks for the pictures. Excellent job so far. I particularly like that they look a little taller than Peter Pig's. I think they have lots potential for use in Arctic/Antarctic scenarios, as well as Wolverines for Red Dawn. Lots of sales potential, provided they have the right detail and height. I would love to see what additional details you add, as you complete this first set. You are planning on an initial pack of 6 or 8 figures, I assume? Thanks so much again for sharing the photos with me. Dan |
GeoffQRF | 03 Nov 2009 2:54 p.m. PST |
About the same size as the PP Marines. Not intending to add much in the way of detail, caps, helmets and light belt order only
although we should have a 'pack' option soon that you can just glue to their backs if you want them heavier. |

I guess that some of the same figures could be used to game 30 Days of Night: TMP link Dan |
