Believe it or not, this is something I'm already working with for my 15mm sf figures: link link link link Just flip them over and add a pill bottle cap to the "top" and a door or two: TMP link Hope it helps some of you out there. CC TMP link |

I for one love these. I picked up a few plastic cubby boxes at the local dollar store and they look to do the trick. I am also in the process of converting some packaging from some At-43 figs. I filled the flimsy plastic with some expanding foam for stability and covered the cutout for the figures with a flat piece of card spaced so that it left a "rooftop" lip. Just need to add doors and some rooftop details and they will make fine colony buildings. |

I always had the idea of using those interlocking trays, but thought them too small for the 28mm figures I have. But, the moment I started buying 15mm SF figures, everything just made sense. CC |

I just ordered the GZG blast door sets, just for this project. Now, if any of you have any suggestions on how to "westernize" the facade of the buildings, to make them look like the place shown 4 minutes into this episode? link CC |

Plasticard works great CC. Just cut it to fit and glue down all sorts of layered detailes to the faces of your buildings. You can get all types at Plastructs.com (Sp?) Michael |

Those will look great. Did you have to break or cut anything off the containers? |

There's a lip (on the side where I put the doors) that hangs over the next interlocking piece. It is shown here, on the upper left: link But that was easy to cut off. A little sanding and, presto. Done! CC |
