Poor old Bill seems to be inundated with posts for the news pages right now (hope you feel better soon, Bill!) so I'm posting this here to lessen the load a bit…..

Here is the list of new stuff from us for the show on Saturday – pictures were only just taken tonight, and sent off to our webmaster but they may not get up on the store immediately – so I've also sent them to Mark H for his Dropship Horizon blog, they may be up there first!

Anyway, here's the list – apologies for the very long post, but as you can see there is a lot of stuff….. ;-)

……………….

All the following codes are in production and will be available at SALUTE on the 28th March – shortly after that they will be up on the webstore for mail ordering.

(the classic vehicle for your planetside exploring missions…)

V15-ACC15 Engineering or Recovery Vehicle fittings kit* £4.00 GBP

* This is NOT a complete vehicle – it is an add-on kit of a dozer blade and mountings, plus a turret with crane jib, designed to fit many of our 15mm vehicle chassis or indeed any suitable chassis from another source. The kit consists of the parts shown in GREY in the example pictures, and does not include the base vehicle shown.

ALL-NEW! V15-BLD RANGE: Sci-Fi Building fittings in 15mm scale!

A completely NEW range of metal add-on parts for making and detailing your own buildings for your SF battlefields. These parts are designed to "dress-up" structures made from anything you like – foam blocks, packaging materials, card or whatever. The example building (rather over-detailed to show the whole range!) was knocked together in 10 minutes with a scrap of black foamcore board and some UHU, just to show how easily you can make a basic structure.

The following packs are OUT NOW, with more to come:

V15-BLD 1 Armoured Bunker/Blast Doors (6 – 3 each of 2 types) £5.00 GBP
V15-BLD 2 Large Doors – loading areas, garage bays (4 – 2 each of 2 types) £6.00 GBP
V15-BLD 3 Civilian Building Doors (6 – 4 single (2 types) and 2 double) £2.50 GBP
V15-BLD 4 Small Pressure Hatches (10 – 5 each round and square) £2.50 GBP
V15-BLD 5 Large Pressure Hatches (8 – 4 each round and rectangular) £2.50 GBP
V15-BLD 6 Roof Fittings A (2 large and 3 small Comms dishes, 4 enviro/power units) £5.00 GBP
V15-BLD 7 Roof Fittings B (vents, exhausts, aircon units, aerial bases – 8 pieces) £4.00 GBP
V15-BLD 8 Vent Grilles, square and round (3 each of 3 types) £2.50 GBP

Part 2: FT STARSHIPS and DF 6mm MICRO:

Just a few Starships this time round because we've been so busy with the 15mm stuff, but there will be more to come soon….

Jon, you are killing us!!!! LOL This is truly the golden age of 15mm sci-fi. I'm also hoping those UAVs will look good beside my Pig Iron minis.

CATenWolde26 Mar 2009 5:21 a.m. PST

An amazing range of releases! Also, as someone who has complained about the pack structure of the infantry in the past, I want to thank you for reorganizing things. As it happens the NAC are about the only faction I don't have in platoon or company strength, so it's great to see them.

doublesix6626 Mar 2009 7:31 a.m. PST

yay '6mm PHALON vehicles' can't wait to see pictures for these.

Bob Runnicles26 Mar 2009 8:41 a.m. PST

Yay, new FT stuff! Some of those Phalon destoyers will be in my future for sure….and if I order a ScanFed fleet deal, Jon, will the Frigates be a part of that now or will you reconfigure the SF fleet options on the site?

Got a friend interested too, so an Israeli Megafleet will probably be a part of my next order, along with maybe two of the 15mm Battle Forces – my resistance is crumbling rapidly ;)

Bob Runnicles26 Mar 2009 8:43 a.m. PST

Obviously I hope Salute is a mega-success for you Jon, but once the show is over what are you expecting turnaround times for mail order to be? If I place an order early next week, for example, how long do you figure on it taking to get mailed out? I have to ask as I'm meeting my buddy at the Recon convention in Florida on April 23rd-26th and want to make sure anything we order will make it here in time for me to hand it over to him there :)

ZeroGee226 Mar 2009 10:42 a.m. PST

Bob – as soon as we unload on Monday after Salute, we'll start dealing with orders, but bear in mind we have another large show (Sheffield Triples) the very next weekend (4/5 April).
As a lot of next week will be taken up trying to replace as much stock as possible before Triples, we may get a few days behind with some orders – but we'll do the best we can, and the sooner you get it in to us, the sooner it'll go out! ;-)

Anyway you can post links with pics of the rest of the stuff? Even if you don't have it on the website yet?

You 15mm sci-fi people are killing me with coolness- I don't have the $$ or time for all this awesome stuff!! The worst part is I spend hours thinking up excuses for buying stuff- those walker MAWP would make great combat-autos for Heavy Gear….

i can imagine most of the stuff, but not everything

Monkeyborg Dirtside26 Mar 2009 3:45 p.m. PST

Everything that GZG does is the mutts nuts (a good thing) but these latest offerings just blow me away! I love the alien mercs and the new ATV and can't wait to see the rest. The building add-ons are superb and long, long over due.

And a big thank you to Mark for his essential blog – the only thing that keeps me sane during the long hours designing catalogues that passes for my career!!

Time to sell off my 28mm fantasy and moderns methinks… Classic Traveller is calling me once more!

Cheers Jon and Mark!!
(and Rebel, Khurasan, GFI, and all the other 15mm SF renaisance-men)

Monkeyborg Dirtside26 Mar 2009 3:46 p.m. PST

Apologies for the above froth <wipes drool from chin> but I haven't been this excited by SF miniatures for a long time…

Bob Runnicles26 Mar 2009 7:14 p.m. PST

That ATV is going on 'the list' for sure….

Cacique Caribe26 Mar 2009 7:34 p.m. PST

Mark,

I must be doing something wrong. I can't blow up the photo of the mercs.

Are they like non-"Mangalores" or something?

Thanks.

Welcome Monkeyborg…welcome.

Farstar27 Mar 2009 10:23 a.m. PST

Those little six-wheel weapon platforms are quite neat. I'm looking at the pictures wondering what else could be put on those.
