CC, is there anything in 15mm that you don't buy? Rebel Minis has been pulling on me to get back into 15mm after selling off everything a few months ago. Plus they are in the US, which means we don't have to play "Weakening Dollar Roulette" and watch prices "increase" every day. |

I have been waiting for the Modern Army guys from Rebel for so long I almost forgot they were coming. Mine have already been ordered and I expect they should be in the mail in the next couple of days. I love the fact they have Javelins with them. CPBelt, Mike is a really nice guy and has great 15mm products. Since he is only about an hour and a half drive from me shipping is really fast as well. Mike has a great collection of figures, especially for SciFi and Zombie Hunting games, but I must admit to being drawn to the Romans as well, but so far I have resisted. Don't forget that Khurasan Miniatures and Splintered Light are also US based companies. Jon at Khurasan has done a great job of putting together a lot of wonderful 15mm SciFi and historical figures and David of Splintered Light (located in my home turf of Atlanta) has a wonderful fantasy collection with a few SciFi items. All of these guys have always provided me outstanding service and have made it a truly positive move from 28mm to 15m gaming. I am so glad for the change. Jeff |

"CC, is there anything in 15mm that you don't buy?" Well, if it's from Rebel and a few other key manufacturers, I'll buy almost anything. Rebel's Special Forces are great, but more US infantry types are fantastic for PA settings, where variety is key, and where troop units will be made up of individuals from multiple arms of the service as well as tactical law enforcement and well-equiped contractors/survivalists. link So this is definitely a big bonus in my book! We do need more survivalist types though: picture picture picture picture picture picture picture picture Dan TMP link |

"Soon the World's Law Enforcement will be ours!" And, after that, then some Survivalists/Contractors/Mercs, perhaps? TMP link Dan |

Just got my 15mm Modern US Infantry from Rebel Minis and they look great! Very nicely sculpted minis with weapons that are detailed and in proportion to the soldier. The command pack with the HMG teams and platoon leaders is a VERY nice addition. These guys have on the ever present body armor and gear so they are a little more up to date than many of the lines that still have first Gulf War or Somalia based figures. I am also happy to see a nice assortment of Javelins with these figures. I know the heavy firepower is not as needed for insurgent games, but for Force on Force games with modern regulars clashing it is a welcome addition. These guys are a little skinnier and have better proportioned weapons than the Peter Pig USMC that I own. I would mix the two together on the table with no issues (even though the Peter Pig are chunkier with a different sculpting style), but others may find that the two are too different for their tastes. Mike has done an outstanding job as ever and I see this as money VERY well spent! Now we need some forces to shoot at mike, so what about those PLA everyone wants or some modern Russians!!! Jeff |
