"Rebel Minis 15mm Modern US Infantry" Topic

Just got my 15mm Modern US Infantry from Rebel Minis and they look great! Very nicely sculpted minis with weapons that are detailed and in proportion to the soldier. The command pack with the HMG teams and platoon leaders is a VERY nice addition. These guys have on the ever present body armor American forces now wear so they are a little more up to date than many of the lines that still have first Gulf War or Somalia based figures. I am also happy to see a nice assortment of Javelins with these figures. I know the heavy firepower is not as needed for insurgent games, but for Force on Force games with modern regulars clashing, it is a welcome addition. These guys are a little skinnier and have better proportioned weapons and heads than the Peter Pig USMC that I own. I would mix the two together on the table with no issues (even though the Peter Pig are chunkier with a different sculpting style), but others may find that the two are too different for their tastes. Mike has done an outstanding job as ever and I see this as money VERY well spent! Now we need some forces to shoot at mike, so what about those PLA everyone wants or some modern Russians!!!

I second Jeff on this. These figures are a must have for 15mm modern gamers.

Thanks for the review. I was just debating ordering some of these but with those endorsements its a no brainer now.

Modern Russians and the break-away republics would be nice.

Looks like I am going to succumb to buying these.

I already bought their Insurgents, Contractors and Fedayeen Soldiers and put the new US troops on my Santa Claus wish list. I also understand there may be US Sniper Teams coming down the pipeline soon.

Yeah, my Christmas list is getting longer with Rebel!
