Well it happened, I got bit by the bug. Saw Conan on TV last night. I've seen it a hundred times but never had the interest to game it, until now.

So, time to find the fur clad gritty horde.

I am trying to find good 28mm Mondols, and other historical figures that could mix together to make a couple of warbands.

I am already looking at Ebobs stuff. Who else is out there?
I am looking for any leads right now.

Thanks

I think that a larger (30-35mm?) Conanesque Mongol horde would be just what I would need for this (very long term) project):

Steve Barber Models do some very nice mongols:

8.50 GBP for 3 or 4 mounted models, so competitively priced in the UK. Don't know if there's a USA distributor.

IIRC, they are larger 28mm, but that's just from memory. They're on my [very long] wants list.

Copplestone has some very nice Mongols. About half of them have their gun slung on their back, so easily removed for medieaval/fantasy use. Plus a great Mongol Princess.
The Tibettan cavalry is very nice too.

Also GW's 40K. Atillan rough riders make good heads for characters.

Didn't Foundry have some Mongol models a few years ago??

Nope, my mistake. It was Huns…

But they might work for you?
