If you were stuck on a desert Island and could only bring one miniatures ruleset, what would it be? Imagine that you can carve local rocks or whatever into the minis you need :)

Would it be something super specific like Liberators! battling the South American wars of independence? Or something super broad like DBA?

Personally, I would be trying to figure a way off the bloody island to get back to my wife, my best friend (dog) and all of my "precious" minis, terrain, and rule sets!!

+1 Hitman.

I retired to rural Kentucky, which is not unlike a desert island, to spend time with the army men, wife and canine buddy.

I have my own set of rules that I wrote in conjunction with a bunch of friends and plagiarizing a dozen or more "real" sets of wargames.

Not much use without an opponent. Can I carve an opponent out of rock? Can you show me how?

I can write my own rules. I just need a pen and paper.

But if I had to take a physical rule set, something super broad so it could act as a resource for Army Lists and unit stats. Command Decision 2? DBA? Something like that.

The Sword & the Flame or possibly Fistful of Lead, which looks very appealing but I have yet to set it up for a trial spin.

Deucey, one of those offered me an opponent. That's a very different question.

Whatever is the most flammable so I can use it to build a fire with.
