If you were trapped on a desert island and could play only one game (plenty of island native opponents). Which would it be? For me it was a tough call between Bolt Action and Kill Team but Kill Team is the winner |

ECW. I'd be Royalist and they would have to be the Parliamentary knaves. |

DBA, so many historical periods! |

Probably Saga. Somehow, there is a certain incongruity involved in playing a Viking game on an island that is, at least in my imagination, thoroughly tropical. Grelber |

DBA is going to give you the most variety, assuming the premise of the question doesn't restrict the miniatures in some unspecified way. Plus it's a great game. You can play that over and over, no problem Ditto The Sword And The Flame. |

Kingmaker. As the rescue chopper arrived, I'd being saying, "Wait, one more turn. We've almost finished!" (But we'd have a great time doing it) |

Mary Ann, then Ginger, then Mary Ann again, Then Ginger again, then Mary Ann and Ginger… then the Native girls (hopefully only friendly opponents for a few seconds only). Sink the rescue ship! 😉 |

No restrictions on troops and terrain, and a guaranteed opponent? Oh, for a set-up like that, CLS. I could play a game a day for years if not decades without duplications. Mind you, such a system would require a fair size desert island. |

Battletech would be mine. I play a lot of games, but if I only get one- this would be my choice. Ahead of: Lion Rampant Naval Thunder Bolt Action |

QILS – Dozens of different games each year. Could play dozens in a week on a desert island. I thought the question was this… inlgames.com/atlantis.htm |

+1 to HMS Exeter for the "Twilight Zone" reference. It'd be my luck, too. TVAG |

Kingmaker for me, too. Much less unlikely to travel with that than a box full of terrain, figures, dice, rules, etc. |

Dal! I at least thought you would prefer Mary Ann, Ginger and the Native girls, to playing wargames. 😉 |

assuming the premise of the question doesn't restrict the miniatures in some unspecified way It does not. You can get any supplies, minis and supplements but only for "that game" |
Deucey | 09 May 2024 7:29 p.m. PST |
So you're stranded but you get supplements? I'm changing my vote to TiR. |

Dal! I at least thought you would prefer Mary Ann, Ginger and the Native girls, to playing wargames. Somehow I doubt my preferences or wants would even enter into their consideration, 35th. I could expect more love from my dice- or even the missus after I've been on a book-buying binge. |
etotheipi | 10 May 2024 1:48 p.m. PST |
It does not. You can get any supplies, minis and supplements but only for "that game" My game doesn't have miniatures "assigned" to it. So, all 15K+ that I have plus any more I need (read: want) would be airlifted to me? |
