If you were to be stranded on a desert island that just happened to have a nice gaming table and the miniatures of your choice and a great player to play against, but you could only choose one set of rules and figures to play with during your isolation, what rules would they be? At first I assumed you were asking what rules could be used for games set on a desert islands. To answer your actual question about what set I favour above all others, the Song of Blades and Heroes family. It's very flexible. Taking the desert island scenario literally, I expect that given figures and time you'd come up with and memorise your own rules. |
