I'm sure this has been done before, but what green are we using for French dragoons?

Humbrol 101 is apparently the new MC07 French Dragoon Green, but it's out of stock at Humbrol and it's enamel anyway. I quite like 70980 Black Green but it may be too dark; 70891 Intermediate Green may be too light. 70895 Gunship Green may be too grey. What have others used?

Am I right in thinking dragoon, lancer and line chasseur green are all the same colour? Line cavalry green in effect?

Yes, they are the same color. Ospreys are misleading in that regard. I've seen them in the same display case at Les Invalides.

The greens are basically all the same. I use the Vallejo Black Green as the base and then dry brush Intermediate Green which seems to come out quite well.

Have a look at Warpaints Angel Green.

Include the Guard Chasseurs and Dragoons; Italians. Russians and probably others lighten / highlight to taste…

We don't get V. here, so I use GW/ Citadel Nocturn Green and leaven with Kabalite Green* (* SFN…)
Past units created with PollyS etc and hand mixed to suit.

I use VMC Flat Green. It's a lighter green, but they stick out on the battlefield and being a dragoon fanboy they look right to me!

I have used 70.922 for my 10mm Italian dragoons. Looks OK at this scale. Would probably use something a bit darker on larger scale figures. Intermediate green is, IMO, a little too blue.
