Good evening gentlemen,
I need a suggestion about French dragon uniform.
What is the right Vallejo green to use? shade and highlight please.
I paint Ab 18mm.
Thanks in advance.

I use the Foundry triad for French Dragoons.

Any green you like. Historical colors varied by dye lot and weathering, and historical rdepictions subject to license, and aging. We won't ever be accurate.

I also recommend a brighter green than the real cloth would have been, as this will improve the contrast on miniatures

I recall Humbrol enamels produced a lovely green in their Napoleonic range of paints, aptly-named: French Dragoon Green.

Check out the painting book by Archiduque from BreakingWar. He lists out the greens used for French Dragoons.
