Howdy,

A new scenario book for Volley and Bayonet: Road to Glory should be out at Historicon in July 2019.

The book will have ten scenarios from the Valley and Peninsula campaigns of 1862.

The scenarios include:

(1) Kernstown
(2) McDowell
(3) Winchester
(4) Cross Keys
(5) Port Republic
(6) Shenandoah Mini-Campaign
(7) Seven Pines
(8) Gaines Mill
(9) Glendale & Malvern Hill
(10) Gates of Richmond Mini-Campaign

The cover for the new book:

Enjoy,

Won't make Historicon, and profoundly uninterested in "should be" releases. But if you'll let us know when it is out and how to order it, I'll probably be interested.

Yes! I certainly noticed that photo. So excited to see another V&B product…

Excellent, have looked forward to a scenario book to V&B! It is a "must buy" in my book.

Some of these battles are pretty small to be playing them with 1 stand = a brigade scale.

Howdy,

You're right …

The book also includes a section written by Frank Chadwick on Alternate Scale V&B. That's material which has been casually available, but not officially published. Four scale variants are defined, to address smaller actions.

Scenarios 1-6 have 1 stand as a regiment (battalion scale).

Scenarios 7-10 are conventional with 1 stand as a brigade.

Howdy,

The book is at the printer now.

I am told it will be available for sale at the Old Glory booth at Historicon.

After Historicon, I understand it will be available for sale online at the Test of Battle web store.
