Yeah those look good. I like the G-man cradling the shotgun myself

War Monkey18 Jul 2013 8:37 p.m. PST

One more thing you have to add is a "Crop Circles" terrain piece

Cacique Caribe19 Jul 2013 6:19 a.m. PST

Crop circles?

Okay those were pretty cool, here's an idea just get some green fake fur and a box cutter razor and shave circles of sorts.

Where it all began.

Pyrate: "The sandy patch on the ground is where the Sutton farm house stood. The little square extending from the upper right hand corner of the sandy patch is where Billy Ray Taylor was drawing water (a well). It is from this point he first saw the alien craft. There is a small windmill on this spot now. The craft probably landed beyond the trees to the lower right."

I am truly amazed at how well you investigated the location and event. And just in time too. As generations pass, those types of details get lost forever.

Thanks so much! Also …

Here's a site with a lot to look at if you need some out buildings.

I hope that, when I build it, they will come:

Wow I lived in Hopkinsville for three years back when I was station at Ft Campbell, and never heard about any of this and I was there! I missed all of it! AAUUGG!

Redmenace15 Aug 2013 11:03 a.m. PST

Maybe the Men in Black got to you.

War Monkey15 Aug 2013 12:42 p.m. PST

Well the wife claims that anyone like me who can sleep standing up, most likely would sleep through an alien abduction :D

And you all thought I was standing guard duty?!

Need local sheriff's department or state troopers types wearing campaign hats

Nice look and a great price. How do you make them strong enough to support a couple of 28mm minis?

Cacique Caribe02 Sep 2013 6:32 p.m. PST

I guess that, for 28mm, some of those could be reinforced after printing, by layering:

Hi Dan,

Just a few years late in answering. The house you identified is well south of the actual location I reference on my blog page. The Pennyroyal museum confirmed this.

Hafen von Schlockenberg05 Jun 2016 6:51 p.m. PST

Now that's what I call delayed response!

Fun thread,though. Thanks for resurrecting!

TheBeast Supporting Member of TMP05 Jun 2016 6:57 p.m. PST

Disappointing, as I assumed Dan had returned to our haunts.

Still, hope his friends pass on the belated but undoubtedly interesting clarification.

Dan, see/hear-from you soon, we hope.

Reminds me of an old Joan Rivers gag about UFO's.

Cacique Caribe14 May 2018 8:33 p.m. PST

Someone should produce a set or two of these "goblins" (perhaps done about 10mm tall for 15mm gaming), to haunt the woods of Appalachia, and perhaps all across the land!

PS. By the way, Illinois has moved their cabins here:

Sure make jokes now … See what that gets ya when the time comes …!

Cacique Caribe15 May 2018 2:07 p.m. PST

Lol. They're gonna make me pay for those, I'm afraid. :)
