Is this awesome or what!
And Paul Lesack has made the pdf file available to all for FREE: PDF link link His TMP thread here: TMP link QUESTION: Other than Lesack's wonderful and selfless contribution to the 15mm SF gaming community, has anyone else made PDFs of SF buildings available to all for FREE? If so, what are the links? Thanks, Dan PDF link |

They aren't free, but people have been using some of those little plastic kitchen drawer, utensil organizers, and just adding in some black paper, or plastic, behind the openings, to represent blacked out windows. Add a door somewhere, on an end, or side, and perhaps some little details on the roof, and they look pretty good, and reasonably modern/futuristic. They only cost a few bucks each, so are a bargain. |

Just scale down any 28mm buildings a bit. Germys buildings shouldn't pose any real problems after reduction: germy.co.uk/fprpg.htm Their shoebox construction is very simple. Similar with Toposolitario: link link Some of these might be more complex: link link Reviresco also had a set of SF Hovels (not really hovelly-looking at all, more pulpy) but there is no way to find them now. |

Here's Tommygun's stuff. (there's quite a lot of it!) link |
Lesack | 23 Jul 2012 1:02 p.m. PST |
There's more of my stuff on the DP9 website. However, it's more traditional paper terrain, not like the newer versions. Because it's for Heavy Gear, it's 10mm scale, but it still works reasonably well for 15mm. link The Gear Kreig section has some 15mm WWII Normandy buildings, too. |

You could also can use paper buildings that Hawk wargames released for their DZ Commander game (10mm so some rescaling needed but you have city build up in no time) link |

PaperPie, I'm downloading the files right now. Thanks so much! Guys, do you think this "airwagon" pdf could work as a single family dwelling for 15mm colonists? link Dan |
PaperPie | 27 Jul 2012 10:33 a.m. PST |
I suppose it could, although set up for 28mm, the "door" would look kinda big. I would say build one, and see how the scale looks to your minis. i think if you scale it down to 15mm, then it would be a pretty small dwelling. my 2 cents |

Glad to be of help! I'm hoping to use those files to make my buildings out of thin styrene instead of card or paper. That's the plan anyway. The proof will come once I start making cuts and then begin putting the pieces together. Dan |

For people that haven't built one yet, Topo's Airwagon is about 2.5-3" square in 28mm. It's supposed to be an emergency drop pod for ~4x minis. TINY, though the door is about an inch wide. |
