If done to represent 5ft creatures and done in only 6-8 variants, with a few holding crude hand weapons (made from scavenged scrap metal or tools)?

I'd buy them and use them for post-apoc CHUDs. |

I imagine they would sell. I am not sure I'd say they would sell well, but they would find a market for sure. -Eli |

While I like to promote anything new in 15mm, I do have a bit of a problem with this concept art. The lower jaw is so large, that it looks too much like a cartoon to me. Perhaps too GW in nature. The basic idea of a completely tech free (nude) figure is very appealing. Like the "Aliens" aliens, no clothing and no weapons means that you can use then in any time setting. Some not-so-humans vs. your cavemen, Romans run into a surprise in the German forests, Cowboys track down what has been eating the cattle, Wait! that is not your normal Zombie, Space "bugs"; good in any setting. But with that said, I would not suspect it to sell as well as the "Aliens" aliens, as that has the movies to promote it. If sculpted so that the hands might be readily made to hold items might increase sales, especially if you sell a line of accessories to arm them with, from clubs to ray-guns. That way you get multi-duty from your casting, but the user (us players) will have to buy larger numbers to equip as we what. |

They would work for demons too. Very much a niche product. |

I like 'em. As people above have touched upon, they would be useful in a number of settings. But also, if you stick with 15mm (18mm perhaps), they would have uses across a number of scales also. Small trogs or whatever for 25mm+, or big beasties for 6mm+. And if left open-handed, they can be adapted for sci-fi or fantasy too. Regards, TC. |
