You know the ones I mean . . . the lean, fast-moving, Morlock-like cannibalistic mutants in the film. YouTube link These are the only stills I've found: link picture If anyone has seen a full body shot or two, could you please post link here? Thanks so much, Dan |

I haven't seen any but they struck me as looking a lot like Dark Eldar wyches. If you combined those with the heads of Daemonettes I'd bet that would get you most of the way there. |

with the right paintjob, i think GW LOTR orcs may be a good fit what i usually do CC, is put in the dvd, pause at the required scene, and take a pic with your digital camera of the tv screen
.primitive ,but works great for me |

Just pop the dvd in your computer and use a program like VLC (a free downloadable video player that is better than most, if not all, the purchasable competitors, just search for it) and right-click on the movie screen. There is a snapshot option on the list that gives you a perfect screenshot of whatever frame is playing when you click it. |

Thanks Samulus, good bump! |

I searched for suitable minis for these guys for a while to no avail as Dan (CC) referenced above. Here are some of my recent thoughts on the subject re-posted from another thread: I also considered using 15mm unarmed elf figures or bloodbowl figures as conversions but again didnt find any right minis. Im still gonna keep looking amongst "ghoul" type minis and other undead human types until I come across something that works. Knowing Khurasan & Rebel I bet one of them eventually comes up with something rage zombie like that wont be silly! picture link picture picture |

Hmm. Does this one open for you guys? link This site calls the mutants "hunters": link Dan PS. I wonder if these could be modified to look like SF mutants: link TMP link |

If anyone is looking to make conversions of your own, at least these guys give you figures with bald heads to start with: TMP link TMP link Dan |

I had a feeling there was some connection between these Pandorum hunters and the Morlocks in The Time Machine, but I had no idea it was literal: link Dan |

Wow. Those guys move so fast, I'm having a hard time capturing any images. Check them out here at 3:30 YouTube link Dan |

Excellent. Hmm. I must have a weird problem on my other computer then. Either that or it's screening out more than I'd like. When I try to view them from there, I get nowhere. Thanks, Dan |

That looks like a VERY Promising movie (and Imagery). Chris Alvart wants to do a Prequel (How the Hunters evolved and why the ship is at the bottom of Tanis' Ocean) and a Sequel (Obviously, the 1200 survivors are joined by several thousand surviving Hunters from the Elysium). link Does anyone else see the deep mythological connections in this work "Pandorum" (Pandora's Box), Tanis, Elysium, etc
|
Cacique Caribe | 11 Sep 2011 1:17 p.m. PST |
Alex, And also the first ship launched, and the first affected by Pandorum, was named Eden. link Dan PS. I figured that not all the "Hunters" would have drowned, as a good portion of the Elyssium remained above the flood waters. |

A strong movie. I like it. I watch it at least once a month.
I watched Pandorum back to back after Apocalypto the other day
a pair of fine chase the hero movies
for a gaming setting, combine the two
good stuff. |
