I can't read it, but I think someone with too much time on their hands is having fun…

Still, I like Thundarr. Even carried a torch for Ariel for a little while (who didn't?).

I like Thundarr & company so much I'm nearing the end of some miniatures conversions for my Post Apocalyptic gaming. wink

GarnhamGhast20 Aug 2009 2:09 a.m. PST

Er… broken link? At least that's what I'm getting.

"Roselyn Sanchez"!!!

Perfect Ariel.

And he certainly found the right picture for that poster:

PS. Warrenss2, please post pictures when you are done (or before and after photos, if possible). Thanks.

Mmmmm… Roselyn Sanchez…

She can be whatever she wants to be. Wowza.

I will. But be forewarned… my painting skills are at the kaa-kaa level and it's the FIRST time I've EVER messed with greenstuff. And I take real $h!tty pictures of miniatures.

She can be whatever she wants to be. Wowza.YEPPER INDEED

"Ookla! Ariel! Ride! Yah-eeee!"

maxpower20 Aug 2009 10:22 a.m. PST

"Bruce Dickinson as Thundarr"
That is pretty briliant. He spent so much time running around in Iron Maiden pretending he was some kind of sci-fi barbarian you might as well let him be one.

Lords of Light, if anyone ever made Thundarr figures I would snatch 'em up in a heart beat.

Hexxenhammer20 Aug 2009 11:06 a.m. PST

There are 15mm Thundarr figures. They're in a pack of 15mm superheroes. Anyone remember who makes them?

A Twiningham20 Aug 2009 12:09 p.m. PST

Superfigs

Grimmnar20 Aug 2009 12:34 p.m. PST

Also a very good set of 28mm scale conversions as well. :-)

Great movie poster…makes you wonder…

Thundarr….I like Paul Michael Levesque…he has the look, he can do camp, and he is over the top already picture

Ariel….I gotta go with Eva Longoria picture

Ookla….under the costume….professional 7' stuntman/actor Conan Stevens picture (the guy on the right)

I agree with the pick for Gemini, although I would love to see Chris take a shot at it…. picture

A movie would be a blast.

Ulfr Ericsson20 Aug 2009 4:01 p.m. PST

I think Triple H would be a great Thundar, and he is used to doing his own stunts.

You can get them from Old Glory 25's. They are part of the figs for Super System.

Thanks,

John who owns a set.

Warrenss221 Aug 2009 2:57 a.m. PST

John, could you give some direct links to them? I looked through the superfigs section and didn't spot them.

These?

Those would help you out more than me, CC. Don't you play in the 15mm range for the most part?

My Thundarr & company conversion update: All I need to do if cover the fender washer bases with some beach sand and they will be done.

Expect a post of them either tonight or tomorrow.

Max, you might want to take a look at this link.

This is pretty much the route I've taken. Although my Ariel is going to be different.

Demon dogs!

Those are great conversions.

maxpower21 Aug 2009 11:54 a.m. PST

Warrenss2-
I've seen those before and they are prety impressive. What I would truly love to see though is a whole range of thundarr figs. One that included all those awesome bad guys like gemini and all the other cyber-mutant wizard freaks. This is the version of post-apocalyptic gaming that really gets me.

Aishwarya Rai would make a great Ariel.

She's certainly got the "hawt exotic" thing working for her.

Ookla would have to be a CGI character.

Still not sure about Thundarr… actor-wise, not rock singer-wise.

Ahhh…. I've GOT IT!!!!

Thundarr…
picture
Snicker… LOL!

28mmMan24 Aug 2009 8:16 p.m. PST

Great Ariel, very pretty lady.

Triple H would make a great Thundarr.

Warrenss224 Aug 2009 8:36 p.m. PST

Triple H?!?!?

GASP----

28mmMan! What could you possibly hold against Don Knots?!?!
