I'm looking for stuff that looks like this, but in 15mm:

How about these. From memory about 6 variations.

How about starting with some naked celts and adding some green stuff to them?

If you are trying to reproduce the feel of the 1933 movie then take a look at the various Zulus that are on the market. They come in a wide variety, and you might find something close to what you're after.

Jarrovian,

Do you know where I might get photos of those Peter Pig natives? Not many photos on that site, and I don't see any for those natives.

peterpig.co.uk/range10.htm

Thanks so much.

It would be easy to make the wall to look like the one in the films, don't you think?

Here's a toy version of the gate:

Even without the big monkey and the giant lizards, it would still make for an interesting plot of modern explorers and cannibals.

CC, Peter Pig natives come in a few variations between the natives and the leader pack. The link above to Freikorps are the closest thing I've seen in 15 mm – I have about twenty-five thousand figures from probably most manufacturers in this scale. And nothing else comes close. A better option than Zulu wars might be Museum Miniature's naked figures, still need to do some adapting. Those koories, though, are as close as I've ever seen. Plan to acquire some for my Slightly Cracked Colonial Campaign. The Peter Pig are good figures but the poses don't have the dynamism of the Koories. Might also check out Eureka/Grumpies ranges and look into MY Miniatures Hawaii range (haven't seen personally but I think there are a few photos on his website.)

Hope that helps.

By the way, CC, I may not be as into the dinosaur stuff as you, but I have the same Kong figure and expect to use it somewhere along the way in my SCC Campaign. My best character? The Rhinosorceress. She's one tough woman and thick skinned to boot. Don't mess with her – or her minions.

"The Rhinosorceress"?

LOL. She sounds horny!

Now that I read that again, could I get that post deleted?

Well, CC, since I'm adapting Amazon figures for her and her main minions and plan to force special morale checks for any male units coming up against her, go ahead with the post. Oh, wait, still there. All those unadorned mammarian appendages.

Well, since I could not see any good photos of 15mm Victorian adventurers/hunters, I decided to get Peter Pig 15mm Pirates to fight the Skull Island Natives.

They should be arriving soon. Hopefully, before I check out of the hotel I am staying at. :)

I ordered some of the Peter Pig natives last night. Hope to see them soon.

But I may still order some of the ones in my original post:

CC,

Have you checked out The London War Rooms Rajah Brooke range? They have some suitable figures for Victorian adventures. I assume you already know about Brigade Games VSF figures.

Just got my Khurasan Chichimecs:

They will fit perfectly with the Peter Pig Pirates I bought recently, and with any Victorian figures I get (if I can find any of them).

I like the club/javelin Chichimecs so much, I am going to buy another set, plus one of archers!

Well, looks like I'll stick with 28mm after all . . .

Well, if Skull Island was supposed to be in the western Pacific somewhere . . .

These South Pacific Pirates would rock, if done in 15mm:
