Lovely looking minis, can't wait to see what else they bring out.

Nice looking figures well detailed – all their ranges looking good.

Oooooooh, I have been waiting for these! Wonder if this is all of the 1st wave or some other sets will be along shortly?

Thanks,

John

Tribe #3 + Shield #1 = Zulus!!!

Skeptic06 Jul 2011 4:52 a.m. PST

Alright! It so happens that I have been reading Shaka Zulu, and pondering gaming the Zulus' rise in the early 1800s. 15mm may be the way to go.

WarWizard06 Jul 2011 5:21 a.m. PST

Yes tribe 3 does look like Zulus. and I really like
tribe 1, reminds me of something from an old Tarzan movie.

Those horror buildings look fantastic!

These look like they would work for the Portuguese era of exploration along the African coast, too.Or at least thats what I'd use them for.How about some armed with bows?

We will have the Deep Dark Africa tribes, Great White Hunters and African porters at Historicon plus the Transylvanian buildings. Also there are samples along to look at for the Horror Range. Most of the Deep Dark Africa and Horror Ranges are in some stage of molding so shouldn't be much longer before we have a big portion done. When I get a chance (hopefully there will be internet connection in the rooms at Historicon, I don't remember getting any last year) I will add the previews to our flickr account so those not attending Historicon can see them also and post an anoouncement.

Kindest Regards,
Teresa

Yea, Teresa, we are all looking forward to whatever else may be coming out.

You betcha!

laptot06 Jul 2011 12:51 p.m. PST

Nice, but we still need African groups from thew Western Sudan (ie Wolofs, Tokolors, Bambaras). Some French Colonial Marines in 15mm would be appreciated as well. The French conquests of the Western Sahara 1850-1900 has fantastic possibilities for gaming and is all but overlooked by the hobby

Great stuff!
