Pics work absolutely fine. It's a shame figs need bases really. Looks like it can be used fairly well as a small vessel. I suggest painting it as wood, or red as painted wood.

Since I am planning to use it as a "Martian" sandship, I am going to either paint the base sand color or, as a last resort, attempt to remove the base altogether.

I am definitely going to re-paint the ship though, after priming, I am not quite sure what color scheme to use.
