Hi,

Of the two flags carried by a Russian regiment, which way round were they.

I *think* I know, but just checking.

The 'white' (I know, not always white!) is I believe on the right (from perspective of the regiment. Is that correct?

Actually one behind another.
"White" flag in 1st rank and "Regimental" flag in 3rd rank.

It's all a case of seniority. The position of honour (in most countries) is on the right as facing forward.

A Colonels flag is always senior to a Regimental flag.

A Colonels flag is often white (or white as the dominant colour).

There are always exceptions to the rule.

Research widely if it bothers you.

Sho Boki is 100 per cent correct for the Russians.

These will primarily be for "Blucher", with each unit representing 4000 or so men. Thus it is multiple battalions/regiments.

I have 4 bases in a unit.

This is the first finished on pre flags.

Also, are flags edged in any way?

Edged? No.
