Do you play games set in the forest/jungle.
Tell us about your jungle scenery. Cloth, buildings, flora, fauna etc…

Hi Martin,

Yes, I have played "Wilderness" type miniature games along with my custom jungle boards made by Mal Wright.

Some blog posts of the games and terrain:

I have done a lot of 15mm Jungle.

But more in a fantastic setting than a historic WWII one.

I put things together on relatively small bases with the space between as trails. I just used brown paper for these photos, but almost anything would work:

The subject has come up here in the past, but not too useful:

I wonder if anyone is making 3D printed scenery for jungles?
It is bound to come along.

@Martin, the jungle terrain is mainly in 2' x 2' sections, with one 2' x 4' section.

Cheers!

For more Sci-Fi style jungle terrain, I've had great luck with plastic aquarium plants. Base them up and they look alien. For more Earth based jungle terrain, I've been mulling over building some, but it is so far down on the hobby list that it will have to wait probably until both the kids are in grade school. I have made forest terrain for 15mm and bought the cheap architecture trees from Amazon and based them either individually or grouped in sets of 2-3-4. These bases will make up a larger forest area so that the individual stands can be moved to maneuver troops, but the size of the forest stays the same.
