Well it had to happen, that little corner of the room that was part storage, part 'holding' pattern for partially painted 'others' etc., came crashing down to floor level when finally excess defeated precision stacking.
So too the library shelves needed a good dusting, and rearrangement of access to books currently being used for research.
However first effort was to move the extremely heavy armchair inherited from friends. Then sweep the floor for the micro-army that escaped from its package box; identify too many more ex-book and figures boxes for recycling; and finally vacuum those dusty shelves as older/ unused books shuffled sideways out of reach.
SO what wasn't recovered for probable basing material (E-flute corrugated packaging cardboard if you want to know) went into the waste recycling bin immediately.
Found a new place in storage for those 'projects' noted as 'long term', brought others to front and generally tidied up something 'er indoors' (also Home Minister/ Finance Minister, yikes) found moderately acceptable.
That was enough for one afternoon…
