Main thread over there >> TMP link [Allies- 1813-14 Napoleonic] A Variety of Corps, actually includes my 1805 Allied also mixed in. But thought since so many 'oldies' come up, here's another barely retouched unit, being kept in the old style as I bring it 40 years later to 'operational' mode… Russian Musketeers 1-

That is definitely a 1970s paint job, old school for sure. The toy soldier vibe is strong with this one. |

heh heh, yes they are. That's why I've not attempted to repaint or recreate them, just respect what the original owner did, right or wrong. The flag is hand painted, stiff as a board (I'm guessing epoxy!). Hence the throwback sawdust- hand made by myself back in the 70's and I still have a 2lb bag of it in various shades! Thats what we did… thanks for commenting, cheers dave |

Sadly there won't be much of an update any time soon as I've waited NOW for over six months to purchase the few necessary command figures and 'extras' to fill some units. I've tried to diligently rebuild existing and convert into new units a few of these 'old-school?' figures to let them see battle one day. Since I was caught out by the sale of The H. product line and rights literally by a week after the event it has been impossible to get anything; not least because of the hash made of the web-site/ordering. Now (today Feb14- a day for love! yukyuk) I find : hinchliffemodels.co.uk Due to production problems we will be closed until 1st March. This is a temporary closure
'maint mode – Hinchliffe Models' I hope they also know their Web Cert is also expiring "13 April 2022". cheers dave |
