Gringos 40 have been working on 28mm figures for their Indochina and Opium Wars ranges.

The latest is Flashman, with a local damsel, who may be in some distress to judge by her lack of attire.
His figure might fit in with many other campaigns of the era so I thought it was worth showing him separately

Outstanding!!!! A must have for every Colonial gamer. I will be adding this set on my order when the Tonkin range is complete.

I know it says 28mm, but is it really. The Flashman figure looks a little full.

There was a line that did a bunch on Flashman figures that also did the cast from Platoon in their Vietnam line. The figures were huge. It looked to me like they had enough lead to make two TAG figures from each one.

Flashman was a strapping six foot something if I remember correctly.

With Flashman's hands at his sides, the sculpt's fingers are at his knees !

very compatible. originally for my

The range I was thinking of is Chiltern.

So evocative of our Victorian splendour. Brilliant. Flashman was a larger than life character so he deserves such a flamboyant sculpt. Well done Gringos.

Best Wishes davejl

and now we get to see them in all their glory.

Certainly she is so.

What clever painting to capture the diaphanous rig she sports!
