He was just hitting back at my snotty comments that one might construe as a Personal Attack.

If I take no offense at his counter-punch, where is the crime?

So I ask Dear Editor to unleash Otto.
And if he doesn't see fit to do this, I ask to share his sentence. I did provoke him, after all. Keep me in the Cooler until he is released.
He can teach me the tenor parts in Figaro, and I'll be having him singing Dwight Yoakam. Imagine our duet on Streets of Bakersfield!

I kind of suspected he would prefer to take his "punishment" like an injured martyr.

I remember several members being in a huff some time back when a VIP (naming no names) revealed the contents of private communications here.
Silly questions about getting the DH for revealing that show you don't really grasp the point.

I think the fuss we had about a poll to ban Holocaust denial was relevant. Why should we need a poll? Common sense should have led Dear Editor to ban it. It wasnt in the FAQ? Again, so what?

The sooner TMP cleans up its messy habits, the better off it will be. And that includes DISCIPLINE in posting stuff properly from other sites. Follow the universal rules. Is it that hard?

It is Bill's site and his rules. However, people pay for a service, if that service is not forthcoming or they are abused whilst paying for that service, then they will no longer pay and the site will die.

Assuming there are universal rules to the internet brings to mind the old saw about the word assume. Something something, you and me.

What gets you dh'd here gets you lauded on other sites. Attribution rules on most sites very regularly ignore those quaint things called laws or event standards.

The internet remains the the west, maybe not as wild as it once was, but wild enough just the same.
