At Nashcon 2017 the games were spread out over 6 large rooms and a huge hall. It was a wild success.
We even had a TV station come and do a feature story. When that goes up on the net, I'll link to it.
The vendors were there in abundance. Great new toys.
I played a game in every session and assisted Ben and David Raybin in their Saturday night spectacular game. I also took photos of very session to document the fantastic convention I have attended for decades.
This year I figured out that most gunfighters are armed with multiple firearms. So I brought multiple cameras and asked folks to assist in taking photos on Friday. Thanks to Dave C., Connie C. and Nina C. However, even with two camera going, we couldn't shoot everybody or every game.
All errors in editing or identification are mine.

At the end of this post are some of the pictures but the link will take you to over 100 shots. This year I focused as much on the participants as the figures. Perhaps you can see yourself.
The games were just breathtaking. Indeed, every game was just flat-out professional and was obviously the work of many months of effort, and in some cases, years.
A few Friday standouts in my view: Bob Moon put on a 40mm game which was a work of art. He put on another 40mm on Saturday, and a naval game to boot.
The Friday showstopper was produced by Keith Sullivan, always a Nashcon favorite, who created Teutoburg Forest ( AD 9,) with over 3000 10mm miniatures. The Roman army was lined up on the road for what seemed like 12 feet with the Germans on either side.
For Fog of War, Ed Bates presented his WWII double blind game using 15mm miniatures and a modified version of "Battleground" rules.
Of the many ACW games, Kermit Hilles and an army of helpers spent what seemed like all Friday setting up the Battle of the Susquehanna which ran Saturday afternoon. (more on this later).
The hobby grows and new folks are joining us. Boys and girls and wives and girlfriends were all slinging dice and pulling cards.
Thanks to all the folks who put on the convention. It was a labor of love. I had a ball.
The Saturday photos will be up next week when I can get them processed.
