I am just enjoying the quality of the Flames of war 15mm plastic infantry (Soviet, U.S. British and German). I would like to collect more 15mm plastics in different periods, does anyone know if any company I'd looking to expand into this area or is everything geared up just for 28mm? |

If you like plastics 1/72 would be the scale to go with I would think…. |

I think the op means hard plastic… |

Indeed – hard plastic only. Battlefront have done really well with their plastic sculpts, They show that you can have really good animation without having to go to multi-part figures. I would imagine that to keep their business model going, they constantly need to produce new stuff as the older lines reach saturation point. – If they picked a new era, just say Crusades or some such in 15mm, I could see that doing really well. I have e-mailed them to ask if they are considering other periods, but I doubt they could reveal such plans due to commercial sensitivity. |

I too want 15mm plastics. To my mind, 15mm ACW would be a big seller to whomever does them first. ACW requires large amounts of essentially similar infantry, and hence the sprues could provide 90% of an army. Similarly, plastic French Napoleonic line infantry, or plastic Zulus would go down well. |

Early Imperial Romans would, too, I think. |

A few years back Gordon & Hague did 15mm plastic ACWs: link Before that they also did 10mm plastic ACW: TMP link I don't think they are still in business; that may be because of the price point for pre-painted figures, or because they tried to do too much at once. Or it's possible that it is a thriving business and I just don't know it. Anyway, there were several discussions on TMP at the time. [edit] I just looked at the webpage for G&H again, and it appears the painted 15mm ACW figures referred to on it are "metal." As I recall, however, G&H also mentioned doing 15mm ACW figures in plastic, and this thread from TMP appears to confirm that: TMP link I'm not sure if they tried plastic first for 15mm ACW, and then went to metal, or originally announced the figures in plastic and then changed to metal, or…..? If you can find them, Wargames Factory did some 15mm WWII in hard plastic. |

Are the Wargames Factory figures ever going to re emerge? |

ACW would likely be a good line. Unless you are not very fussy about uniforms, you'd need more than one box. But 3 boxes of infantry and one of artillery and you'd be good to go for 90%. I wouldn't even bother with cavalry just let people buy metal. |

Wealdmaster – at least some WF lines have re-emerged branded as Warlord Games figures. But then when Warlord Games bought the Pro Gloria figures there was a box of 28mm plastic landschnecht in the offing – and that hasn't appeared. |

Does battlefront have plastics for their Team Yankee 1980s game? Or is it just like one tanks kit per side or something? |
