I'm thinking about buying some of the Gordon and Hague Pre Painted 10mm Plastic ACW figures. Has anyone else in the UK bought some yet ? What rules are you using ? Is it possible to buy reinforcements or is it just the box sets or nothing ? Pete |

Everything is available as a single on their site. |

Maybe, but not in the UK yet. Are the figures compatable with ant existing metal ranges ? |

I don't know. I do know this has been discussed a number of times on other threads, so try the search function and/or go to the ACW product review board and you will find other 10mm gamers discussing what they do and don't like about the figs. I was following the threads, but decided I had too much going on to get into the figs, but you may find them informative or helpful. |

From the previous discussions I've read, the closest figures to them is AIM, or maybe Pendraken, but I haven't seen a side by side comparison. |

Hi, Just wanted to let you know that the figures are probably closer to 12mm. I have some Pendraken 10mm figures and the Gordon and Hagues' are a head taller. They will probably go well with the "true" 15mm figures also. As for availability, the boxed armies are available but awaiting a restock while the individual stand "booster" packs are on clearance. He has only a few left. The new Regiment boxes are suppossed to be available sometime this coming spring. The rules that he has available for free download are quite interesting and play nicely but may not appeal to some players as they follow the GW sysem
.roll to hit, roll to wound, roll to save etc. Hope this helps. |

The figure painting is fair and it costs about 50 cents per figure. As the these are 10 mm looking at them is like 13/4 football fields away. I am rebassing for JR3. I find it pretty easy. I can cut the base to make diferent size units. To me the MOST important thing is to battle not how they look. |

Here is another thread discussing these: TMP link I just placed an order and have been reading the rules as well as providing input to the game designer for some modification. Overall it looks excellent. I have been a Fire and Fury and now Regimental Fire and Fury player in the past. I will definately be giving these rules a good test play as they look promising especially for teaching newer player as well as vets who want something a bit less complicated. Stock is currently limited on blister packs, but they do have quite a few left just not everything. Cannot beat the prices at 45% off IMO. HTH, Aaron |
