Needing opponents to fight these TMP link and these TMP link Last year I started gathering some Goblins to use for Kings of War fantasy rules. Never played fantasy before but KoW rules are fun and interesting enough to play with my boys. More pics and information here: link Hope you enjoy the photos. Cheers, Mick

Very nice! Our youngest is a goblin fan so I built up a bit of an army for him – how good are Goblins in KoW? Because they are pretty much just cannon fodder in WarHarmmer |

In Dragon Rampant they can be anything you want them to be. You just spend the points. |

In KoW goblins have some amazing warmachine options, lots of mobile Zappy wizards, plenty of very fast units in the Fleabags, solid defence in their hordes and very little will to fight directly with their Yellow Bellied rule. They are on par with all the other forces. |

Dust Warrior is right. They are quite competitive and have a balance of pros and cons. The sharpstick horde phalanx is quite cheap and packs a decent punch. Using Trolls and Giant as the real damaging units has worked well. The yellow bellied rule isn't too bad but the occasional bout of cowardice never comes at a good time. Thanks again for the comments. |

The yellow bellied rule isn't too bad but the occasional bout of cowardice never comes at a good time. Just like gaming with Napoleonic Spanish. I should be an expert Goblin C-in-C then. |
