We are very pleased to release the 15mm Thrainites, humans who have been living far from Earth on larger-than-earth planets for several centuries, making them shorter and stouter than Terra humans. These warriors are strong despite their deficit in the height department and especially excel at combat at close quarters, for which they generally prefer CPR (chemically propelled rounds) to energy weapons.

Their favourite vehicles, the MDMS tank and APC, have also been released.

Thrainite sets:

picture

Thrainite Lething troopers (two clutches, each with a veteran and three troopers, eight models in five poses)

picture

Thrainite heavy weapons (six models in three poses)

picture

Thrainite Lething command (a Steward petty noble and a heavy slugthrower)

picture

Thrainite Young Noble Assault Team in Assisted Armour (basically carapace armour with power assist, not quite power armour but almost)

picture

Thrainite Force Commander in Command Power Battlesuit

picture

Thrainite Mako Weapons Set (twin autocannon with gunner and heavy mortar with crewman, shown here with Mako tractor and cruciform base which are available separately)

And as said we have also released the MDMS vehicles but will announce those separately. We've also released a set of two vehicle crew upper halves for the Thrainites but we forgot to get those painted! Pictures will follow.

id like to see a platoon set so that it has maybe three packs of the troopers, one pack of heavy weapons and three packs of command…..

that allows three squads, each with eight rifles, three heavy weapons and a leader, and then a support section of two mortars….anyone agree???

Could they fit into one of these?

I'm surprised I like these, but I do. I hate dwarves but these look plausible.

I don't like the sometimes comical depiction of dwarves either, and think Ben has done a good job giving a harder and more plausible look to them.

First of all, I think these figs are really nice space dwarves and, as a former Squat player, I am thrilled to see them released.

I am curious what people think is so different between these dwarves and others?
