This one here (officially called an "Alien Anti-Grav Light Scout Vehicle"):

Thanks,

Dan
PS. I'm hoping big enough to carry two or three of the Vacation Aliens (Khurasan's version of Predators).

they do look more like shuttles/landing craft than 'just' anti-grav ground vehicals….but that's not a bad thing!

Guestimating from memory, I'd say it's about 50-60mm long, maybe 25mm wide and 20mm high. A light vehicle in 15mm.

The cockpit is too small for the GZG ones (don't have the vacatalien one around).

The Sea Wasp was designed to be piloted by the Cnidarians, aquatic creatures which are a cross between hydras (the real, not mythological, creature), octopi and salamanders! They don't have skeletons and can flow into any space, so the SW comfrtably fits its crew of two Cnids.

I think most people who use them for vertebrate life forms either use them as drones or, as Dan wants, as the ride for a single covert operative or other stealthy invader. I think there's just enough hull space to fit one bipedal vertebrate laying prone.

Alternately I've been told that the DPLS looks very Pred-ish! wink. And with the hull bottom drop-in it looks much more military, less commercial/piratical.

I prefer to imagine it piloted by sea monkeys myself. :)

Based properly, it also makes a nice starship mini, especially with the sensor disk turret.

Is this the same model?

Yes, Dan.

Well, I think I've got the solution . . .

What do you guys think of using the Rebel Minis' SoT guys with the Khurasan scout ship?

Just think of them as SPACE EWOKS!!!

Even with some of those new little guys from Rebel next to it, the scout ship still doesn't look big enough. :(

Maybe some 10mm gamers may want it.

Still say you're looking at it wrong – it's driven by sentient goldfish, or sea monkeys, or a coral hivemind critter. Xenointelligences don't need to come in man-sized packages.

Heck, buy some 6mm figs to go with it. The Brigade power armor suits Germy sculpted would work nicely as tiny 15mm humanoids, and they're obviously environmentally sealed – there's your sea monkey crewmen in dismount mode. :)

LOL. Sea monkeys?

You crack me up.

ThorLongus01 Nov 2010 12:23 p.m. PST

yup, could even be their version of unmanned drones
but I like to think they are crafted by sentiont sponges
their entire airforce could be driven by small sponges….
we could call it the Loofa-waffe

LOL!

Although I've already given the design rationale for the Sea Wasp, thought it might be helpful to point out this video, which shows how invertebrates without shells can often fit into places we'd not expect:

The Cnidarians pilot all Pelagic Dominate vehicles including the Wasp.

LOL. Poor thing couldn't wait to get out of such a confined space.
