Does any manufacturer make figures in snow suits / parkas or heavy furs?

I know of the MY Inuit (of course) and GZG Scandinavian Federation troops but that's about it off the top of my head.

Fantasy or SciFi are the key periods but would consider:

1) Modern day troops
2) 'Caveman' styles if well covered

Thanks in advance
Andrew

Have got nine poses of men mostly with civilian long firearms in parkas coming out early next year, two with more military weapons (a flamethrower and a SAW).

Following them will be US Army Rangers in arctic gear.

Peter Pig's German Ski Troops (range 8) might be of use. Martin does an extensive range of spare heads so they can be made into other sorts (I'm just swapping some over to Russians in Ushankas …)..

Just an idea …

For the fantasy/caveman side, I'd suggest the Bear Clan by Splintered Light. link

For sci-fi, I'd consider an alternate paint scheme for some desert types. There are some good ones with heavy-looking fabric and covered heads and faces. Rebel Sahadeen come to mind:

geoff
can these be used as other nationalities ,i am thinking canadians or is there a issue with webbing and gear etc ,cant make out detail in above pics

GeoffQRF10 Jan 2012 4:51 p.m. PST

They are fairly generic, padded jackets, light belt so no real webbing. The M16 would easily pass as a C1 in 15mm
