Works for me too. Are those astronauts, or aquanauts? Looks like they could be both. Love the paintjobs on the visors of the white ones! |

Mako11, Those are GZG light vac suit astronauts:

Yes, I know, but I still think they can double as undersea troopers too, for modern-day Jules Verne type scenarios, e.g. a hunt: for the giant squid/kraken/crab, Karks, Orca-troopers, etc. Perhaps the planet they are visiting is a waterworld. |
Cacique Caribe | 31 Oct 2011 3:48 p.m. PST |
Oh, most definitely, Mako11! Don't limit yourself to space. The guys could easily become aquanauts in other games. Think of all the other underwater scenarios (including Abyss and Leviathan) that you could use them for. Dan PS. And, for Jules Verne and such, you could even use a few of these ruins: TMP link |

Oh man, I want one (or three) of those for my 10mm sci-fi figs! It would be a great rough duty transport for a mining colony and is probably just big enough to also serve as cover for a tank. CC, I'm loving all these Matchbox finds you keep making. Keep 'em coming. Here's a bulk lot with two of the subs, several of the previously topic'd harbor patrol ships and some other goodies! auction |

Rassilon, Seems like they were made back in the late 90s: link Dan |

There's a re-released model of the Flying Sub, from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea available too, in case you need other craft. |
28mmMan | 01 Nov 2011 7:59 a.m. PST |
How about this for a transport? link
At 1/55 it is much closer to 28mm but with a few touches it makes a nice larger craft. |
Cacique Caribe | 01 Nov 2011 9:03 a.m. PST |
WOW!!! That would make a fantastic puddle-jumper. Awesome find. Dan |

28mmMan, Don't know if this is the same model but, looking at the components, I wonder if a suitable 15mm cockpit/cabin* could be extended to look like a longer vehicle (like those new "limousines"): link Something like this would be sweet too:
