"What's on Your Workbench?" Topic

So what are you working on right now? I have a few Micropanzer SAS conversions in progress for specialist figures for Gruntz, but my main focus at the moment is terrain building. What's on your bench?

I'm embarrassed to list all my half done semi complete projects currently on my work bench, but I guess my main interest right now is revitalizing a very old GZG Dropship that I acquired a few months ago. "Will the putty work ever end……"

Last few figs for a biggish pulp scifi project, with some more Dust Tactics figs in queue and then a large lot of Rebel Titan Marines.

Nothing. Well tools and brushes but I have finished all ongoing projects and not started anything new.

I think this is a first for me.

I'm converting one of these

into a piece of farm machinery for a future scenario of Rogue Trader.

40 Felid Prideguard, a Felid Baron, and 10 each Light and Heavy Felid troops. I've got 15mm samurai sashimono that I am going to work onto the backs of each of the Felids.

I'm cleaning them all currently, and will base them afterwards. Then to figure out a color palette to use.

Pretty much the same as last time this question came around …

Micropanzer aliens and Rebel Titan and Droptrooper command are my main projects right now. I'm also making myself paint 3 to 5 civilians or adventurer-type characters every week to improve my games. Then I have a small ItEN retinue of Laserburn redemptionists that is crying for a paint test.

Primed and ready to painted: 10 member Felid light battle circle, and US Special forces members from The Scene (to be used to fight non-Predators and/or anything else of extra-terrestrial origin)

Almost finished: an Earth Force Mk.III Support HAMR Suit.

At various stages: alien-looking plants for terrain.

I'm assembling a ton of stuff I have had hanging around for months – in some cases years.

I'm ashamed to say…

Two squads of Khurasan Exterminators, two squads of MicroPanzer SAS in berets and 16 or so MicroPanzer Aliens.

Not to mention almost 2' by 2' worth of scratch built foam-core ruins that need a lick or two of paint before they can be gamed through!

Thankfully all of my minis' are based and have had texture added, so it's just getting in gear and priming them etc.

50 28mm modern US troopers that will be fighting unknown at this point ET's, zombies, monsters, orks etc. etc. etc….

they are at the dipping and base finishing stage.

6mm Moderns: Main army and OPFOR, basing, painting.

15mm SYW: Finishing main army and OPFOR

15mm WW1 German Biplane: Needs assembly, based, painted, dipped and base flocked.

Trees glued to CDROMS, need flocking on the CD.

15mm WW1 French Army: Needs basing, painting, dipped, flocked.

Test paint 15mm models for PoH army.

Test paint Space Marine for home chapter.

Finishing off the Little Prince's WarHammer Goblin Army (90 goblins down, only a hundred or so more to go)

Basing two 28mm French SYW infantry regiments

Completing the GM Fortified Manor – buildings all done, just a little stone fence to complete

Doing some terrain – a scratch-build observation post using sandbags, some odd bits and the hull of an old WWII Polish armoured car

A ton of 15mm on mine and some warhammer I helping my son with.

I now also have the new 15mm vehicle mini exchange to start.

I just spent much of the day priming these:

Well currently working on a PA concept of a barge town, in a delta of some back water river, everything is in drawings right now, with some layouts in scale want to make sure there will be room for play, everything looks workable so now it's time to get the resources and start putting it together, some twenty odd barges linked together by piers and gangways once I get started I will be on it like a dog with a bone. here's the kicker, even the wife is interested to see how it turns out.

A tree house for my kids. Then Soccer for both my kids.

I dunno where Gruntz got his, but I see you live near me, so you probably have a Hobby Lobby. That's where mine came from Mine is grey and came from the fabric/tailouring area, but it has the Metric and American measurements along two of the the ends. The other two sides just have the American measurements.

Three squads of Khurusan Exterminators and 80 Space Demons.

Twelve old 1/87 Heavy Gears, so all the new mechs that are being released have something to fight.

Here's what I'm having done at the moment…

The Rebel Command Minis which I mentioned earlier are now finished. Look for a review of those troops on Dropship Horizon sometime this week. Now I need to pick out this week's character minis…

assembling and basing: Khurasan Space Demons. So, so many.
planning stage: space port terrrain

Here is mine..
At the back are current sculpts, third Aquila (with white gun), pair of Pretorian stalkers for project Warzone 15mm, and Retinues for In the Emperor's Name – Space marine and Dark Eldar court (still early WIPs). Closer: Conversion of CMG Snakemen to Power Armors, few snakemen GZG old style power armors upgunned with Khurasan guns and Khurasan PA team. And Titan marines from Rebel and few OG15 Africans. And Khurasan Orcas and Felid Humvee toy.

But thats only 15 mm…
I tend to work on many projects at once, thats why i rarely finish anything..;( But there is just too much of cool toys :>

A mixture of WWII, peterpig, rebel minis, and modern troops, more bugs to finish, and my felids when I have room. Beyond that I need to put some more time on my highrise building I am working on.

Blue Moon Post Human Command (still) on the workbench currently awaiting paint. I've also got a pack of Mercantile Bond up next.

Well I kinda dove into the deep end when I decided to start wargaming.

Got, 24ish Rebel, Shahadeen, Home Guard, and Titan Marines, that are all unprimed
Got ~ 20 Khurasan Felids, a squad of ORCAS, and a Karkarine squad. For a race I added just to make it interesting most are unprimed, got An ORCA painted as a test fig.

In 15ish, I've got a Minecraft project I'm working on, currently assembling the last of the monsters.

In 28mm I got a bunch of EM4 orcs that are being converted into sci-fi rebels, and a blood bowl team.

That's about it.
In terms of miniatures anyway XD
