Welcome to Tophet Meadows. Still looking for suitable cheap cars to dirty up and put on blocks, some pink flamingos, and I need to get a urban mat, BUT here is the Tophet Meadows Trailer Park, in all its glory! I had bought the Plasticville Hobo Jungle and Trailer Park in O Scale and sent them along with a couple resin pieces to Sabol Studios ( sabolstudios.com and his pictures which are better than mine here: link ) Matt at Sabol did a GREAT job, making the picnic area and swing set and adding a bunch of extras to what I had sent him to work with. I highly recommend his service. A bunch of pictures here: link

That is a Totally Sweet setup! Very awesome! Time to bring on the zombies or anything else that needs killing. |

Smells like the old stomping grounds. You can take the guy out of the trailer park, but you can't take the trailer park out of the guy. Ah yes I remember the fine young ladies with perfect curves (questionable viewing, be warned) picture fancy clothes picture and summer smiles picture sum' teeth are brown, sum' teeth are gray, and summer just plum gone. ***** Your redneck Rivera is looking really trashy! And that is a compliment, nice work. |
Soldat | 22 May 2011 4:53 p.m. PST |
It looks great. I like it cuz you can use for lots of different things. I was thinking zombies like gogators but any x-files/sci-fi setting would do. Swamp thing etc. |
CPT Jake | 22 May 2011 5:05 p.m. PST |
Yep, Zombies, Grey Abductions, Meth Lab Take down, Biker Gang wars, Red Necks agains them thar Law Men, I have plenty of possible scenarios. Now I also need to find a Red Neck guitar playing Zombie as per the movie that gave the park its name. |

Totally brilliant! I can smell the piles of refuse from here. The play area and picinic area really make it work. The skull in the sandpit was a nice touch. |

Two things
. holy huge toilet batman! And you are missing a key piece of redneck furniture. There are no lawn chairs that I can see! |
CPT Jake | 23 May 2011 3:49 p.m. PST |
So, any source for 28mm or O scale lawn chairs reasonably priced? I actually knew I needed some but could not find any. |
28mmMan | 23 May 2011 3:53 p.m. PST |
I did find some but failed to get any decent pics. But I did find this! link |
CPT Jake | 23 May 2011 4:13 p.m. PST |
That is very cool BUT: "Making an O-Scale lawn chair is a pretty straight forward project that only takes a 2 to 3 hours to make." Call me crazy, but I would MUCH rather buy some, or go without rather than deidcate that amount of time. Not counting paint/glue drying time my Tophet Meadows sign and my blue tarp took about 20 minutes tops, together. Jake |

Trailer parks are REAL? I thought they were only in sci fi films! |
CPT Jake | 23 May 2011 4:52 p.m. PST |
They are real. Very, very real. And some are very, very scary, even in daylight. There are also dirt roads that go back into the woods and end at a single trailer, or a small cluster of 2-3 trailers. Best not to show up there without being expected. picture picture Welcome to Rural America.

Those are spot on. I used to go to places just like that as a Probation Agent. Glad to see they remembered to put the "tail lights" on the trailer. MBA forgot that little detail on their trailerhome. |
Brian Smaller | 24 May 2011 6:58 p.m. PST |
Is it my imagination or are the empty cans scattered around rather large. Other than that a cool set of terrain. |

rednecks love them some pop. |

Rogzombie | 24 Feb 2012 7:02 p.m. PST |
Are these just the Plasticville Hobo Jungle and Trailer Park with some converted or did you find some other trailers? I would love to do a larger scale modern trailer park for a zombie attack. |
Rogzombie | 24 Feb 2012 8:26 p.m. PST |
I just moved into a trailer park and I like the rep trailer parks have but mine is nothing like it. Of course there is trailer trash but most people arent, just normal middle and lower middle class folk. Now aside from a few crumballs most of the trailers are really nice. They have rules too about no pit bulls or cars up on blocks, tire stacks, lol, etc. Still its a very colorful and interesting place to live. As far as scumbags I hardly see any and the girls are very hot. Contrast my old upper middle class neighborhood, we had 3 unconvicted peds, one guy about to go postal and a total grindhouse psycho who blew up his house with a freakin hand grenade! So things arent always what they seem. I love the place and I love the variety of trailers, its a whole different world and its interesting how people customize the trailers. There is even a guy living here with a hummer, now I cant see having a car 3x the price of your house! That said I think a trailer park would be a great scneario for a zombie rpg or war game. YOu would have every type of colorful character you can think of. Teen gangs, rednecks, working class norms, throw in a swat team or two and it would be cool as hell and the zombies cold have the whole place surrounded. |
