Dan, I'd be surprised if you couldn't do something like that using 15mm Civil War/Plains Wars/WW1 cav and maybe some headswaps. WW1 Russian cav would have pretty good headgear for that type of unit. link Chris |

I bought a bunch of these Eureka riders, to convert them: link link And then I bought a bunch of these Rebel guys, to see if I could do a little Frankenstein work: rebelminis.com/15cico.html rebelminis.com/15poapsu.html I thought that, by using the top half of the Rebel Minis figures and the bottom half and horse of the Eureka figures, I would be able to make PA riders with weapons and outfits common with the military and contractors these days. When I tried it on one horseman, it seemed to be the perfect solution. However, after I bought all of those figures I realized the conversion work of an entire unit would be too daunting a task . . . definitely a little too much for me to handle at the moment. Hence the question. Thanks, Dan |

I just clipped the bases off of standing firing figures. You can make mounted/dismounted player figures that way. Horses were all Old Glory ACW 15mm that I bought years ago for something or other. I did the same thing for goblins on wolves when I needed a few more to make a leader stand. |

Rod, Did you say "yup"? For real? Dude, that would rock! How soon will you start on that project? Or have you started already? How long before we can buy them? Thanks! Dan |
