Well, while we continue to wait on the Khurasan Chewks*, check out these cool-looking 12mm tall "Sandrider" guys:

QUESTION:

Are there any other options out there that I may have missed?

Thanks,

Dan

Have you looked at various 10mm figs. Maybe some of the GW skaven plague monks would work.

Hmm. Hadn't thought of that. Who has those? Are those in the "Epic" line?

And, do they look anything like these?

Thanks,

the jawas micro machines set is pretty good .

I also use the Micro Machines Jawas.

I've even got a sand crawler for them, a big plastic thing but I can't remember where it came from.

I think they will fit very nicely as 4-5' jawa/desert mutant/or other sandman types…or for that matter arctic types if painted different…or painted reddish for Martians…etc..

And a good price…40 for $29.95 USD

Add a couple decent mechs, which on a 15mm table top would make nice armor.

I agree. I went ahead and place my order earlier today for the 40 infantry. Can't wait to see what they look like in person.

Even so, I'm curious to see what else is out there that could work for 15mm.

That's a 28mm-scale Jawa… 15mm tall.

Shoot!

Well, I guess there's always the Pendraken fella at the far right of this pic:

Though, at 11mm tall, they are a bit bigger than a Jawa should be for 15mm.

Check out what GEM has in the works:

Not "Jawa" types, but suitable for no-tech alien desert dwellers.
