This would be an interesting way to start a novel, or even a game . . . "Berlin, March 1934. Adolf Hitler was taking a personal tour Berlin's Museum of Egyptology when he suddenly lost his temper and ordered everybody to leave him alone. As he walked alone amongst the displays he noticed a particular coptic jar. Compared to the others it was quite ordinary and this made it different. Hitler picks it up to look at it more closely when his hand begins to shake and he drops the coptic jar which breaks. Suddenly a strange snake like creature erupts from the broken jar and leaps at Hitler. Later Hitler is walking from the Berlin Museum of Egyptology with a small box under his arm with his entourage trailing behind him. To some he looks different more virile as if a new wave of strength has overtaken him as he strides towards the car. Little do they know that Hitler is no longer one man but two himself and the Goa'uld symbiote, Kanith a young and very junior Goa'uld who had displeased Ra and been imprisoned. Now he was free and a leader amongst men." link However, I would see that happening in 1945, as everything is falling apart, including his health. Now, imagine him waiting in Neuschwabenland, planning for a violent return to the world of men in December of 2012. He stands before his hordes (all of them in-vitros and raised in frozen Neuschwabenland), telling them that, like a Napoleon or even Christ, he is ready to resume his place and continue his dream. QUESTION: So . . . what would Nazi troops and military hardware look like in 2012, after 67 years of clandestine development, away from any prying eyes, but very much aware of the rest of the world, and of our latest technology? As for me, I see the 2012 Nazi troops looking something like this: picture picture But, what do you guys say? Dan TMP link TMP link |

Hmm. What if Einstein is in a Goauld sarcophagus too, in stasis, awaiting to be revived in time to deal with Hitler in 2012? Maybe even recently revived and already preparing the free world for what's coming. Dan |

By the way . . . Einstein has somehow got hold of this map of Hitler's lair in Neuschwabenland: picture He is working with the US, the UK and others to strike at Hitler's cloning facility (partially run by robots): picture Dan TMP link |

I would probably use Victorys Redd Redan figures even though there are not many figures in the line. |

Well, you could argue that the Europeans are ready for strong leadership again – and a reanimated Einstein would be a great opponent |

Before he left Germany, Einstein used his knowledge of German alchemy and Egyptian Xeno-math to deduce what had happened and released a genetically engineered virus that only attacked Goa'uld. Thus, as the war progressed, Hitler/Kanith slipped slowly into madness and losing grip upon reality. Convinced that he was still winning even as the Red Army was entering the city of Berlin, Hitler/Kanith ordered the Gotterdammerung Device activated Goering, seeing this clear evidence of his leader's increasing insanity as his chance to become Führer, poisons Frau Braun, drugs Hitler and shoots him, making it look like a suicide. However, his plan is foiled when it was revealed that his archrival Dönitz was next in line of succession. Wyatt |

I think Hitler was enough of a Goa'uld as it was historically. If anything, I would rig a situation where the DHD recovered by a Nazi archeological dig inspired the rigging of a small Stargate, a la Orin, (as seen in the show). Or,when the bunker was about to be over-run, the above scenario involving Goering is foiled when the symbiote transfers to a Red Army captain when troops enter the area. The captain raises in the ranks, biding his time to make a come-back. When the Russians get a Stargate, the hiding Goa'uld makes his move. We have a similar storyline involving a rouge Russian General from the show. |

Wyatt & Artslave, Hmm. Now I don't know how to make my 2012 scenario work. :( Dan |

The Stargate RPG books detail the world of Himmel, with lots of great details along the lines of your ideas. If Hitler escapes via the symbiote jump, the Himmel World is the springboard for the Hitler Goa'uld to strike back at earth. By the timeline of post Ori, the Tauri have the firepower and starships to fight a minor threat straight-up, not just with amazing escapades from SG-1. Of course, finding the Himmel World, and this re-located Hitler threatening one of the friendly allies of earth would be just the kind of daring challenge for SG-1. |

So, not a fan? For those of us who are, the idea behind the Stargate franchise of exploring the universe and finding relocated human populations offers near endless opportunities for games. The TV shows barely scratched the surface, and near the end got caught up with the quasi-religious Ori plot that I did not care for so much. Even so, the later shows still featured some interesting historical/fantasy settings. I loved some of the settings used in SG Atlantis, especially the conflicts with the Genni. Very ripe for game material! |

I VERY rarely am interested in sci/fantasy genre. Star Wars is an exception, just because the first 2 movies were great fun. Lord of the Rings is nonsense to me.Trolls goblins, orcs, not my thing. They don't exist. But thats just me, to each his own. And thats why I have my own TV! :-) Bob |

In the original Battlestar Gallactica they had that Alliance group that was a Nazi inspired civilization. that second picture is really cool but too advanced. maybe one step back, body armor helmet and newer weapons |

Sadly for the Goa'uld, they ran afoul of the Nazi experiments with the Ark of the Covenant (before Indiana Jones retrieved it), and that was that… |
