Howdy all, I am appealing to the collective genius to provide me with some ideas of what I can do with a few deoderant containers and a slew of prescription bottles that I have been handed by my various family members (lots of medical conditions) who know "I can use that stuff". I am looking for 15mm projects of the vehicular or scenic variety. I do have a few ideas in mind, but I am wondering if anybody has had tried and true or inspired ideas. As usual links and pics are always cool but even general tips and ideas are appreciated. Thanks, -Eli leadpeople.blogspot.com |

Black Widow Pilot made some cool grav tanks out of deodorant containers. Not sure where the pics are on the tubes. Upside down bottles might make good gas or liquid storage tanks. |

Good stuff so far. Some of these I have already done or seen, but great to have them in one place for future searchers. -Eli |

Hi Eli like you I have a burgeoning collection of same. The prescription bottles are going to be converted into gun turrets using the 'spare' weapons from some GZG tanks. I'm also thining of turning some into colonist apartment blocks. BOOTS the Chemist in UK have vitamin bottles that are really neat. They have a cut 'off /sloped cap which looks like a design feature on a roof. Cheers Mark |

One of the ideas I am kicking around is trying to figure out a way to convert the deoderant containers into 15mm dropships or shuttles using parts from some helicopter models and such. Mark, Those must be some huge pill bottles if you want to use them for apartment blocks, even for 15mm. Most of mine are the smaller handbag portable, one or two-month supply bottles. I do have some of the cut-away caps that you mentioned. Some of the bottles will make it on top of other structures to add layers. I have a few mice laying about. Oneof the biggest issues with any of these is building the crew compartments. -Eli leadpeople.blogspot.com |

Eli, When you get started on that hovercraft, could you take pictures of each step of the process? I would love to see how you accomplish it. Thanks. Dan |

CC, I have to figure out what sort of hovercraft it wants to be, first. If/when I get around to building it, I'll post up some pics. -Eli |
