Thanks so much guys!

PS. Preferably figures that will not look too small next to 15mm GZG examples.

There's some being made to go along with ATZ.

Would they look much different from 19th Century bandits?

The BAR, Tommy Gun, AK47 or M16 perhaps?

The old Twilight 2000 range had several sets of very nice mounted guys with AKs etc. But these would be 20mm.

Yep, plus bits of military uniforms, jogging suits, and other modern clothing.

Any hint as to what they might include? All cavalry? Or mixed? Thanks.

I would go with ACW Confederates with a few mods. I saw some done in 1/72 at a recent convention. Painted up and with a little green stuff, you really won't be able to pick out the difference in shotguns/carbines.

Peter Pig's AK47 range might have something you can use. Another option is to snip off more modern figs at the waiast and pin them to the horse legs.

Emu2020,

LOL. That sounds like a cool mutation! Very centaur-like.

Doh! I meant pin them to the mounted legs astride the horse!

No worries. I got the idea the first time around but I felt I had to bug you about the wording. :)

Would russian civil war figs work…those irregulars on horses always put me in the mind of bandits.

Have a link to what they look like?

Don't know for sure but probably mixed.
Sorry if that doesn't help much.
