I can't seem to find a photo of them on the West Wind site:

Does anyone have photos of them (painted or unpainted)?

Thanks.

Witchhunter.net has some in his Old West and Victorian areas, at least the fancy gentlemen with the cane and specs and the man doffing his hat. They are very cool minis.

No those are the London Civilians

I havent seen these either

Well, on the Witchunter site, the fella lifting his top hat, and the man that looks like Gary Oldman in Dracula don't seem to fit the Civilians' pack, so they might indeed be part of the Gentlemen's pack.

Right. That's why I'm getting that pack. It reminded me of Oldman right away!

No look at the descriptions. Most are civilians, but those two are definitely from the london gentlemen pack.

I guess that it has been quite a while since I ordered through Old Glory . . .

I just tried ordering 2 of the West Wind packs and they want $7 USD for shipping and another $3 USD for handling!!!

I bought these 4 years ago at H'con. The figures are good, DO order them, CC.

I just placed an order with Warweb/Grandiosity. The charge per pack was more than Old Glory's, but I needed to order a bunch of Crusader Miniatures anyway (which they have at a considerable discount at the moment).

Total order, for the two West Wind packs and a ton of Crusader Minis: $150.00 USD (about $30 USD of which is the West Wind stuff).

Plus, I appreciate that Warweb/Grandiosity is more honest in how they charge p/h (and very inticing too – a flat $6, regardless of the size of the order).

Oh, and the two West Wind packs ended up being different ones too. I didn't see the London Gentlemen listed, plus I needed a few that would not be so dressed up and that were more dynamic in their poses:

London Detectives
London Thugs

I plan to use most of these to fight my Morlocks!

I think some of the ones in the back right and the one with the dogs in the front are WW gentlemen. Some are Eureka.

CC, you should have joined the OG Army for that price. They also sell the Crusader figs. Shipping from og25s.com is $6, free if $100 USD and over.

Oh, man. Live and learn, I guess. :)

I have the London Bobbies, Detectives and Thugs. All great figures, one day I'll even use them grin

(Oh and no CC, I'm not ignoring your message, I'm just trying to find them in the "big box of things to trade/sell".)

Lowtardog02 Oct 2007 9:40 a.m. PST

Sorry Deathwing, you may virtualy punch me on the nose, I didnt scroll down the page :0)

Lowtardog02 Oct 2007 9:40 a.m. PST

Also worth checking out are the Brigade Games Gangs of Newyork and the TVAG Bobby Jackson B`Hoys, I have them all and they are lovely little castings

CPBelt02 Oct 2007 10:03 a.m. PST

Unfortunately when the West Wind figures are gone then they are gone forever. I like them better than the newer Blue Moon figures. The WW figures are not as detailed as those from Artizan, for example, but are far cheaper with the OG Army deals.

Hey, CC, been there myself many times.

Lowtardog03 Oct 2007 2:25 a.m. PST

Check out the TVAG figures Dan, they are very nice and the photos dont do them justice. On page two there are some nice Bobbies for 1830s and 1860s
