Hair has been added. Look at the last 7 photos of unpainted ones in the current set: link QUESTIONS: 1) Any last minute suggestions before I start painting them? 2) Any suggestions on what color scheme to use for their skin? Thanks. CC TMP link |

Those are very nice. Maybe you should quit your day job. For skin I would go with a delta ceramcoat middle flesh with some Cel-vinyl grey 20 mixed in for a base and then mix in some gray 10 followed by gray 5 for highlights.

"Maybe you should quit your day job." Dorothy and I would drive eachother crazy if I were to spend that much time at home! :) Thanks. I'll look through the paint equivalents available at the local craft stores. I'm still on the road and the choices are somewhat limited. CC |

Nice job. I think you did pull the faces down a bit and they look great. really a nice conversion and sculpt. Eloi beware :} |

Nice! Maybe, if the hunters, beef up the calves a bit to match upper body? But really well done. |

Truly fine conversion job, CC. As usual, your work is inspirational. By the way, although I have fond memories of the 1960 version of the Time Machine, I never got around to seeing the Guy Pearce remake. Is it worth picking up? The reviews were quite mixed at the time it came out, but the stills you've linked to are intriguing, and I believe I saw the DVD for it the last time I was in Borders. Mulligan |

Mysterioso, thanks! I followed your advice and added a bit more on the calves and front of thighs. Mulligan, thanks for the compliments. Like you said, the reviews were mixed. However, despite some weak lines in the plot, and many unclear questions at the end, I think it is worth watching. If anything, to inspire some gaming scenarios. CC |

CC, the compliments are all sincere. Every time I see the things you've done, I end up wanting to pick up the Kneadatite again and stretch my own sculpting boundaries. Hmmm. I may get the remake in the near future. (Unless, of course, I already have picked it up. Damn, these unraveling quantum singularities!) I just ordered the silent Call of Cthulhu, and the last movie I picked up at Borders was This Island Earth, so my Friday Creature Features nights with Missus Mulligan should be fun for a while. I really like what this fella did when painting his the Copplestone Yeti: link Very, very nice. I have two such Yetis, unpainted, that I plan to use as more de-evolved Morlocks. I may end up using the same color scheme he used. CC |

OK. Here are 5 more Reaper Ghouls, before and after head swaps: link link link It is obvious that the face casts are too big on the smaller figures. I plan to fix that next. Also, the hair and necks need to be done. Other than that, the figures will not be altered in any other way. CC |

I'm eventually going to add my "Morlock" heads to these other figures: link What do you think? CC |

Honestly, not big on them. Too many GW standard spiky bits. Of course, that could be solved with a sharp hobby knife. |

Got the GW Ghouls today in the mail, and hobby knife will be used for a bit of trimming work to get their backs to look like this: picture link Hope to post some photos in the next couple of weeks, after I add my Morlock heads to those GW Ghouls. CC |

Warren, Thanks so much for the encouragement. I have some nerve damage to deal with first, but I really need to complete all those projects. I feel like my mind is not at rest until I finish what I start. CC TMP link |
